"The original photos on the site didn’t do this place justice. It is so cute quaint and private. the views from all 3 sides of the bluff are beautiful. you can see sunrise and sunset. The porch is the best place to just hangout and enjoy the view. It’s not a fancy updated place, just a cozy old fashioned cottage with a quirky little bathroom."

"Beautiful lakeside property with scenic views and superb walkability. Watching the cormorants and the herons on the lake was our favorite pastime while at the “camp”. Would definitely recommend if looking for a quiet place to relax and enjoy nature."

"Great view with stunning sunsets. Beautiful windows lent themselves to enjoying the lake even when indoors. The dining room table is AMAZING and seats the entire crowd at the house. Ceiling fans in the bedrooms would be an excellent addition. A dimmer for the light fixtures over the main dining table would enhance the ambiance. The lack of railings on the stairway to the 2nd level could be problematic for less mobile guests. The hosts were very accessible & quickly responded to any needs. Overall we had a wonderful experience for our multigenerational group."

"it was very easy to contact host w/ questions prior to visit. They were extremely helpful. property was very clean and extremely well stocked. we purchased groceries for our week stay and all cooking oil, spices and basic supplies were already available for our use. very complete sets of dishes, pots and pans, cooking utensils,silverware, glasses and cups. very thorough instructions on all aspects of property and use of. both gas and charcoal grills, we chose to use only the charcoal weber, were provided.deck and furniture w/ cushions was great to spend time watching the lake. Kayaks, Canoe and other equipment available for use but we chose to relax so didn’t use them. we used the main floor only as there was just the two of us. the main floor Queen bed was very comfortable and we went to bed listening to the adjacent creek waterfalls and/or the lake waves coming onto the shore. There are many hiking areas locally but we chose to walk the driveway and the road by the house. very scenic area…up until recent retirement we owned a rural resort so we know rental property. this one is well run, well maintained and a perfect getaway. definately a 10 out of 10!"

"I’m not thinking pet friendly! Those stairs would be a challenge for several dogs. The space was clean and well kept. The stove was way out of level! Refrigerator door should swing to the left toward the wall not away from it. It was fine for a couple of days. "
