"This was a phenomenal property, and an absolute STEAL for the price and location! The beds and linens were clean and comfortable, the bathtub and towels were so comfortable and soft! The toiletries were excellent and the room was well cleaned and well maintained! I also enjoyed the in-house gift shop for souvenirs as well as the lovely complimentary coffee and tea! They even had beach towels and beach chairs available for guest use on the beach! Everyone was kind and hospitable and we had an absolutely wonderful stay! Can’t wait to visit again!"

"Room with two queen beds. Incredibly comfortable beds and great pillows. Very clean room. Breakfast waffles included and very good. Parking provided and an easy, quick walk to Kennebunkport Dock Square shops and restaurants. Met expectations perfectly. Not the place to stay if you want a sea view or luxury hotel—and we were not looking for that this time. Wanted proximity, parking, breakfast included and cleanliness. Recommend."

"Nice place for family vacation. The staff was extremely helpful and accommodating. Lots of nice amenities like bikes, kayaks, s’mores fires nightly, and access offsite to a river pool thing. And the swimming pool on site is very well maintained. The breakfast is very nice with dairy free and gluten-free options. But the blueberry cake takes the cake!"

"This was our second stay at the Colony this summer. My husband and I made a stop sans kids and decided to return with our kids after a lovely first stay. We loved that the main building did not have televisions naturally creating a great screen detox and had no issues with the room temperature despite no televisions. We did find it odd that on our second stay there was no handsoap provided, but it wasn't a big deal. The beach is lovely and calm and our kids had a blast fishing on the channel (the Kennebunkport Marina is walking distance and sells gear) and catching invasive green crabs. Lovely stay. Will surely return."

"Wonderful stay. Very clean rooms super helpful staff. Complementary bicycles were a nice touch to get into town or ride to the beach. Location was great as it was not directly in town but quick bike ride or walk."
