***We have been notified that there will be construction at Colony Reef from October 1, 2025 - April 1, 2026. This means that there could be construction noise during the day due to the renovations being done. There will also be an upcoming building closure during that timeframe, though we have not been notified of when. We will update this message and notify any booked guests as soon as we have the dates.***

Welcome to the Colony Reef Beach Retreat! Enjoy a beautiful 4th floor view of the ocean from this adorable beachy condo. With plenty of living room seating and a dining room set for 6, there will always be a place for everyone in the family. The kitchen is fully stocked and comes with a drip coffee pot and a stackable washer and dryer.

All the condos are equipped with private WIFI and have TVs in the living room, master bedroom, and second bedroom.

Take advantage of the recreational opportunities of this private gated community, including a large oceanfront pool (not heated), children's playground, two tennis courts with pickleball court lines, and a basketball hoop. Our indoor amenities include a HEATED pool, sauna, racquet ball court, and fitness center.

The beautiful, white, sandy beaches are just a two-minute walk from the unit. The beaches are also accessible by car with just a short drive north to the Dondanville Road Access.

Only a 15-minute drive away is historic downtown Saint Augustine, where there is no shortage of shopping, dining, or fun activities for people of all ages. Check out the towns many historic attractions or hop on the Trolley’s to see it all on the go! You can purchase tickets to many of Saint Augustine’s attractions here in the office!

Saint Augustine has no shortage of kid friendly entertainment! Check out the Alligator Farm or the Lighthouse and Maritime Museum here on the island or head downtown for the Pirate and Treasure Museum or Potter’s Wax Museum for some good old fashion family fun!

The cleaning company provides a limited amount of basic necessities (toilet paper, trash bags, dishwasher/laundry soap, etc.) to get you started, you will want to bring some with you.

Pets and Service Animals: Pets are not allowed at our Beach Retreat. You must let us know if you are bringing a service animal, it's important to let the cleaners know. If you bring a pet, we will charge your damage deposit for a pet fee plus $100 for the unexpected extra services required to clean the house and you risk cancellation of your booking.

Beautiful Beachside Condo!

Clean, quiet, and comfortable condo with a gorgeous view of the ocean and the swimming pool. The condos have everything you could ask for - multiple swimming pools, even an indoor one, tennis courts, gym, playground, and private beach entrance. The hosts were helpful and responsive, and I have no complaints whatsoever.

Wonderful trip, great view of the ocean and beach, well stocked right down to back up condiments; plenty of towels including beach towels, although a little chilly for ocean dip Only issue was lot of noise from refurbishing outdoor pool which apparently happens roughly every 15 years. Beautiful location

The resort area has food trucks daily and movie night on wednesday, the condo was nice size the balcony and views were perfect! This is a great place to stay with family, safe, the resort does have a lot of rules so if youre looking to drink and smoke this is not the place for you! No alcohol at pool or beach.

Wonderful Stay!

We had a GREAT time at this condo and Butler beach! It was our family of 4, so our son & daughter were able to each have their own room. The view is amazing and since it wasn’t that hot when we stayed (in July!) we loved sitting on the balcony and listening to the waves! It’s right above the pool, so you can hear the kids playing but it stops at 9, but that didn’t bother us and it was never too loud! There is so much to do in the condo area with all ages of people playing in the grassy courtyard area (until quiet hours so that was good!). They even had a movie night for families Thursday night. We loved it!! I personally don’t think all the chairs on the balcony were necessary- not really enough room for lounge chairs but some may love it. We just scooted them out of our way and it was no big deal. The property was clean but needs some baseboards cleaned and to use a new mop in the bathroom b/c when we got there it had a smell in bathrooms. I wasn’t sure if it was the mop or the fan in the bathroom. I didn’t run the fan the rest of the trip so I didn’t smell it after a day. It wasn’t even an issue big enough to report earlier. Easy walk to the beach and lots of great restaurants around. Lots of games in the condo too! Thanks for sharing your place with us! We will be back!!

Love Colony Reef Club

We love St Augustine Beach and especially Colony Reef Club! We’ve stayed here many times, but this was our first time in this unit. It was very nice: comfy bed and nice Living Room furniture. It’s one of the only units with 2 King sized beds.The kitchen is nice, clean and easy to use. There is a small pantry for storage. This place is a convenient location for restaurants and shops. It was a great stay!

Loved this place! Location!

This condo was beautiful. Great location even in comparison to other condos at this place. Sunrose behind your back in the condo so you could enjoy shade in the morning. Its right above the pool but wasnt loud and thry closed the pool striclty at 9. I loved the view from the 4th floor. Verykid friendly place with families playing in the centercourtyard. They had a movie Wednesday night and food trucks everyday this week for designated hours by the pool. Condo had games and books. Nice towel selection and pool towels. Only complaint was the kitchen. Pots pans are old and beat up no spices. Knives awful but its what you expect. We cook a lot so this was tough but made it work. Overall loved. Will definitely come back.

Paradise Found

One word - Balcony! We spent much of our time relaxing on the comfy loungers enjoying the ocean breeze and views! The facilities at Colony Bay are top notch - beautiful pool (although unheated, warm one indoors!), ping pong, racquetball, tennis, pickleball, bingo - all within a short walk! The condo itself is well appointed. It is well loved, but clean and the comfortable. There is plenty of seating in the family room and large dining table. There is even a desk for those of us who never quite get a vacation! Owners are terrific and quick to respond to any concerns. We spent a month and loved every minute!

We loved our 4rth floor view of the ocean, beach and pool! Had sun on balcony all day with 2 cushioned lounge chairs. Great communication with the hosts, David and Patti. Wish the big pool was heated, but the hot tub was nice! Would definitely recommend!

We stayed at this property for 5 days! It was spectacular! First, instructions by David was concise and complete! He remained in contact throughout our stay! He is extremely helpful. Secondly, the place was spotless, and very convenient! We cooked our meals, and were able to remain on our healthy diet! Third, the amenities were fabulous! I would love to return in Summer. And last but not least, everyone is very friendly and helpful! Thank you very much David and Patti, we will be back!

Can't say enough good about our stay at this condo. Great views. Large rooms with great decor. Comfortable Beds. Well stocked kitchen. Attention to details to insure a great stay. The pool was perfect and beach pristine. The management company David 10 Stars. Answers question almost immediately. Most detailed and complete check in and information instructions I have ever seen. I cant say a negative thing but I could just keep going on how great this place and the management team was. We will be back again!!
