Beauty in Butler Beach

My wife and I stayed here for a week and it was great. Property is clean, comfortable and exactly as advertised. Property owner was very, very helpful and communicative, and it was an extremely relaxing place to stay. Highly recommended!

Beach getaway

We loved our stay at the Pearl! It was casual and relaxing and a quick walk to the beach. The house had everything we needed and we loved that we could bring our dog and walk to the beach so easily. Would definitely stay again!

Close to the beach and amphitheatre

Great location! I saw many tortoises along the property and walking to the beach. House is a good size for 2 people and 3 dogs. Dogs had a great time!

Great place and so close to the beach

My daughter and I visited St.Augustine for a concert at the Ampitheater (beautiful place!), and rented the Pearl for 2 nights. The home is lovely, the back yard is very spacious, the area is quiet, it's near the Amp, and is a very short (2 minute), walk to the beach. We hope to stay at the Pearl again in the near future!

Wonderful and very quiet

The home is just blocks from A1A, but it was so quiet and relaxing. Plus, it’s just a short walk to a beautiful beach and the beach was never crowded. 5 stars

Thanksgiving Getaway

Y’all have a great place. Very cozy. Everything in the house worked perfectly. Very comfortable beds. Great shower. Perfectly located for what we wanted to go. Our dog loved your backyard. The Pearl is only about 2 hours from us, so we’d like to come back. We had our Thanksgiving meal at O.C. White’s, highly recommend it.

Peaceful hidden gem on Butler beach

My husband and I haven't had a getaway just the two of us in over a year and really needed a relaxing time away together - needless to say, The Pearl did not disappoint! The cozy cottage was perfect for us and our dog, and only a short 5 min walk to Butler beach. We loved the access to the beach anytime we wanted, the outdoor shower to rinse off, and the quiet neighborhood location. The fenced in yard for our doggie was a requirement when we initially started looking for a vacation home, and this one was luscious and a great size for our pup! We appreciated the comfortable furniture, and the house had everything we needed to relax and ensure a great time was had. There are several nice restaurants close by, our favorite was a 5 min drive away - The Beachcomber - we ate there twice! Overall, the perfect relaxing place to call our home away from home for the few days we spent in St. Augustine, FL. Thank you, Deborah and George, for provided your gem of a home to others! Hopefully we will be able to return again soon, someday.

Quaint Cottage

Wonderful stay at the Pearl. The cottage is as advertised, super cozy and loved the little details like shiplap walls, stained glass, and succulent gardens. We loved how close it was to the beach and historic St. Augustine, and loved that the beach is dog friendly as we brought our pup with us. Owners will very responsive and it’s clear they value their renters and take care of their home. Had all the basic amenities and loved the fenced in backyard! We will back!

Perfect name for such a gem of a home! My Mornings on the front porch listening to the ocean waves and the birds was so very peaceful! Very clean. Beautifully decorated. Everything we needed. Our hostess was super accommodating and welcoming. We will be back!!

Butler Beach, Dog Friendly Cottage

This was our second time staying here at The Pearl. We brought our grandchildren and 2 dogs with us this time. Great location just south of St. Augustine in the Butler Beach area. 1 block away from the beach and board walk access. Location, location, location! Close to everything but in a quiet neighborhood. Original eclectic Florida beach home for your family and pups! There is so much to do in St. Augustine and the surrounding history laden area. The neighborhood is tucked away close to Highway A1A. Highly recommend!!! Thanks Deborah and George!

Cute and convenient

Enjoyed the cottage which felt authentic and was nicely decorated. Way better than a condo. Perfect for our family of four since the 2nd bedroom had two single beds. Could have used some actual soap and shampoo in the shower and sponge for the kitchen. Access to a nice portion of the beach which was relatively uncrowded.

Comfy Lodging

Weekend getaway for married couple. “The Pearl” cottage was very clean, comfortable, and fresh-smelling. A/C worked well and plenty of hot water. Loved how all the switches were labeled. Loved that they had luggage racks and dressers to store clothes. Front porch was extremely convenient since it rained off and on for a lot of our visit. Short 5 min walk to beach. Public access to drive on beach (4wd only) was nearby. Plenty of places to eat in area (Sunset Grille, Mango Mango’s, Parlor Donuts). Publix is just down the street. Quiet neighborhood. Nice backyard w/hose and outdoor shower (not enclosed), good for rinsing off beach sand.

I grew up in Butler Beach, so coming back to my favorite stretch of sand was pure joy! Easy access made beach walks a breeze, and it was so great to see how many gopher turtles are thriving in the area! The Pearl was the perfect cottage for my mom and me.

Quiet, close to beach, large backyard

Had a great stay at this home with family. Quiet neighborhood in a prime location. Less than 5 minute walk to the beach. Clean, well kept, and enough space for the 3 of us, plus a dog. Large, fenced backyard was perfect for our dog and the backyard hose made it easy to clean her off after a day at the beach.

Wonderful place

The Pearl is a great location close to the beach and wonderful restaurants. We loved everything about it - artful decor, fully stocked kitchen, front porch for morning coffee, comfy beds and fenced in yard.

Great Location!

We had a wonderful time staying here. Beach is a short distance away, great restaurants are around the corner and the historic district of St. Augustine is a short drive. Overall, we enjoyed our stay and would love to come back in the fall.
