"Very comfortable room in interesting old railway station. Great value and lovely welcome from "Lulu" and her Mum. Very generous "help yourself" breakfast of cereal toast, tea and coffee at whatever time suits you. St Bees is nice to walk round: with pubs and a little beach with a kids playground and a very good cafe. Lake District is next door by car, and the coastal railway to Lancaster or Carlisle is a delight."
