"Lovely quiet and comfy stay, you wouldn't know you were above a pub!"

"We totally enjoyed our stay. The room was very nice and the bed was very comfortable. I can't say enough about the breakfasts. There was a buffet of lots of fresh fruit every day, a selection of cereals, and the cooked breakfasts to order were fabulous. We aren't drinkers, so we didn't go into the pub at all. There was a minor plumbing issue one evening, and they did everything possible to rectify it that evening. Unfortunately, the plumber wasn't able to get the part till the next day, but we were able to use a shared toilet on the floor. I would stay again without hesitation."

"Great location but be prepared for the climb back up the hill from town! The parking involved a bit of shuffling but it was easy enough and superb to have an EV charger. We had the smallest room which doesn’t have a seaview but we knew that before coming and the room was lovely and cosy, with plush carpets, linen and towels. I wasn't sure what it'd be like without a staffed reception but it was easy to get hold of someone if you needed anything."

"my freinds wedding was there and the whole day was amazing outstanding service and food everyone was polite and helpful will defo like to go back maybe next time with a better view out of my bedroom window and also an extension lead for my cpap machine as there are no plug by the bed x "

"Lovely room, warm comfy bed. Slight lack of clothes storage (some hanging space but no shelves/drawers). Expensive I know but some of the window frames need replacing. Friendly staff and great food - breakfast and dinner."
