"The heaters need to be cleaned really badly. We turned them on because the house was cold, but they started to smell horrible. Like burnt dust. The carpets are stained and need a good steam cleaning. There was a very strange and offensive odor in the master bedroom. It smelled like the chemicals in a hair salon. We booked 3 nights and only stayed for 1. Expedia tried to reach out to the property owner, but they didn’t respond and we couldn’t get our money back. I don’t recommend this rental."

"The house is gorgeous and was just the perfect home away from home. When we arrived there was a lot of black dog hair everywhere including in the bed. This didn’t bother us too much as we have dogs ourselves golden retrievers and we just cleaned it up. We did have a problem with the WiFi not working however Allan dealt with this immediately and had an engineer out on Monday and fixed which was fantastic. Overall though we have a fantastic stay with the added bonus of our lovely cow(actual cows) neighbours who our golden retriever solo ended up getting kisses from 來 we will definitely be back and appreciate Allan’s hospitality and quickness in resolving the WiFi. Thank you for a lovely stay "

"This cottage is so authentic with it's cosy, comfortable and quirky look, really made us feel at home. It has everything and more that you need and want to ensure your stay is catered for, Kate has thought of everything. The views from the house are breathtaking and we really enjoyed having our breakfast and other meals outside, looking out at the sea, accompanied by the cute seals. Pennan is truly a lovely place, where life slows down, relaxing and the locals are very friendly. Access to the beach, sea and walks, perfect for for a couple holiday, we certainly enjoyed paddleboarding. Various places nearby to visit and not forgetting the delicious cakes from Coastal Cuppie and outstanding meal from The Pennan Inn. Loved this cottage so much, we booked again for the next year, while staying there. Beyond perfect, never felt so relaxed. Looking forward to our next stay. Found our little piece of heaven by the sea."

"I had no idea what to expect after paying roughly £35. Insanely fast WiFi, comfortable bed, very quiet. The only thing I wished that they had was access to a larger sink to fill my water up with before I left in the morning, but overall a great stay and I would happily return."
