"We never got the opportunity to stay in this home…the host cancelled our booking at 17:30 on the day we were due to move in. No communication, we had to chase him for a few hours. Finally at 5pm he rang to say he was on his way to meet us and then half hour later he called to say that he was cancelling our booking due to a water leak… but we didn’t believe what he was telling us. We then had to find alternative accommodation for the rest of the week. Terrible experience from start to finish!"

"The owner never responded to us with check in information. I finally got ahold of VRBO support and they were unable to contact the owner either and cancelled our reservation while I was at the airport leaving for our flight. VRBO support gave us options that were over twice the price. We had to stay at a hotel that was very expensive and we lost the use of a kitchen which meant we had to eat out. "

"The property reminded me of staying with your college buddy right after graduation when he/she can't afford anything else. It's better than nothing at all, but certainly not an ideal place to be. It was a location with the advertised number of rooms and amenities and nothing more. It was very 'lived in' so don't expect a model apartment if you book it. It was not ramshackle, but there seemed to be no effort made at all to make it feel anything more than just a place to sleep. The bathroom, for...

"Good property with a 5-10 minute walk to the King's Cross train/underground. Also, plenty of bar and restaurant options including one right out the door to the right. The beds were good. A good place for my son and I."

"We had this house booked for two stays during the same trip. (In the middle we attended a wedding in the English countryside.) We did not actually stay for this time frame. The house was filthy. From the moment we entered, I texted with the property manager about how dirty it was. The neighborhood is very noisy. There were people screaming all night in the house directly next door. We hardly slept. Avoid at all costs. "

"Nice multilevel flat with well appointed kitchen. Quiet neighborhood about 10-15 min walk from st. Pancras Kings Cross so transportation (including picking up and dropping off rental cars) was super easy. And a nice neighborhood pub (The Queen's Head)."
