Warm and welcoming working family farm.. Lovely room overlooking the Devon countryside. Great base for visiting the many sites on the Devon Cornwall border. Very near Cotehele (NT). A short drive to Plymouth and Saltram House (NT) and good roads to the heart of Cornwall. Spent three nights and wished for more.

Fabulous stay at the Horn of Plenty! A beautiful hotel with wonderful staff and amenities. Food was wonderful and beautifully presented. Woukd highly recommend. Wish we could have stayed longer!

On the day of my arrival my husband and I were greeted by the owner Bradley. Bradley assisted us with our luggage and personally escorted us to our room. He gave us the grand tour of the building and explained how the items in the room function (TV, lights etc...) One personal touch that I loved was him offering us a nice hot pot of tea. We had a Lovely stay at the Great Trethow Manor. Site is just gorgeous, building is very pretty, room was spacious, beds were very comfortable and we had a nice breakfast in the a.m. So thankful they advertise via Hotels.com or we never would have found this place!

Beautiful historic hotel sensibly and chicly updated. Staff very attentive. Our suite was quite comfortable..terrific bed and lovely bath including charming decor and sitting area. The gardens are amazing and you can walk down to the river Tamar from the hotel. Breakfasts amazing, dinner good. Small niggle; pillows are all the same. I like a softer version fwiw.
Hope to come back again; really a stunning spot.
