Most of the staff were very friendly and helpful - there was just one waitress on one evening who was a bit distracted and served us but didn’t return to check if we wanted anything else. But the others were very attentive The food was very good and there was plenty. The room was clean warm and comfy the setting is calm and beautiful and location handy for most of the places in Cornwall we wanted to visit! "

"The hotel was fabulous and I love Tavistock. We were a little disappointed with our room - it was tiny and you couldn't look out of the windows as the glass was obscured. We definitely didn't expect that but I imagine it was because we booked theough an agency."
