"Everything was first class, from the check in at reception, to the splendid room. To the Bar and restaurant and then the ease of parking and check out!! Clean, tidy and efficient and at a great location for access to local shops and easy access in and out to the A38 Plymouth Parkway!! Will definitely be staying there again!! They could however improve the beds. They need replacing with more modern ones like other hotels already have done."
"Stayed on the third floor, small room, plenty of space, the room was clean with no damage, shower worked great. There was a fan in there which is helpful in the summer, didn’t have any noise complaints to make.
Only stayed for one night so can’t come in on much else, the room key can be used for the front door when reception is closed after 10 pm and be aware that the keys go in the door horizontal rather than vertical and they also turn anticlockwise which takes some getting used to....

Good single rooms, comfortable beds , friendly and professional staff and on site parking.
The hotel is within walking distance of the central shopping area, theatres, hoe and waterfront.Has a pool,gym and brasserie.

The first morning was greeted by the breakfast lady and was told to go bar, no food available and tbh it wasn’t the best atmosphere was treated like a hindrance shame as it was the first impression and when you get a 5 year old ready for breakfast and was waiting around for hours was not a good start to the day . "Friendly and accommodating staff - decor a bit tired - shower was broken on arrival but the staff were quick to sort it out. Clean, tidy and in a beautiful environment - lovely views from my balcony.
Breakfast was good - ordering in advance at a set time meant no waiting for hot food."
"While there is nothing wrong with this hotel if you just want to sleep there, if you want food or drink find somewhere else. On Friday night they closed the bar at least half an hour early so we couldn’t get a drink, on Sunday they were short staffed so stopped serving food at 7pm so we had to eat crisps and nuts! The hotel is a long way from anywhere to nip and get food and drink, so please make sure you are suitably refreshed before coming back."
"Hotel does need some maintenance doing, our room had some damp in a patch in corner. flakey paint on wall in bathroom. At breakfast there was a bulb going in the main light which was flashing all the time we were having breakfast. Fire exit handle was broken in restaurant and fire extinguisher needs looking at.

"We chose to stay at the Brunel Inn whilst attending a festival nearby. It was the perfect choice! The staff were fantastic and the owners were so lovely! Would definitely stay here again, way better than camping"
"Great place on the Cornwall/Devon border, equidistant from the stuff you can do in the Southwest. The food they serve is great, as is the staff I interacted with. An EV charger in the same parking area is very helpful, as well. I was surprised that my single room didn't have a TV. The water pressure and heat when trying to shower were never consistent (but usually okay). While not a comment about this hotel, know that this area doesn't have much for stuff to do. "Good central location. Clean and good facilities. Fine for a couple of nights. Centrally located with plenty within easy walking distance. Let down by poor checking process where I was outside the property but with no instructions. Had to call thankfully all quickly resolved."
"Really very nice and great value for money would definitely stay again , it’s a little out of the way do watch your sat nav doesn’t lead you into a field
Only very slight issue was breakfast and check out were very early for a Sunday morning I think check out 1000 breakfast until 0900 , but it was a nice breakfast"
