"Extortionate price for a freezing room with no really hot water. Bar was cold too (no logs put on fire) although food and beer were good. Landlady was unsympathetic - "no one else has complained". She suggested I could have put a second duvet on top. Talk about denial!!!!! Avoid this place if you want value for money and/or until the temperature rises above 18 degrees."

"Thoroughly enjoyable stay. We were upgraded on arrival to stay in our own holiday cottage attached to the guesthouse. It was very clean and comfortable with all usual conveniences. Beautiful new bathroom with new walk-in shower and underfloor heating. Cosy lounge with open fire and bespoke fitted kitchen.
