"We had an amazing stay for my partners birthday. The little touches that the hotel did were so lovely. The staff were amazing and nothing was too much trouble. Make sure you eat at the Korean cowgirl as it was great potion sizes and good value for money. The only thing I wish was a bit better was the spa, if it was a bit bigger and had more loungers."

"Beautiful Hotel, we stayed for 2 nights, arrived on a Sunday, room was very clean and bed was so.comfortable,.. we had Sunday lunch and it was amazing as was the breakfast on both mornings, Staff are very friendly, and nothing is too much trouble. Would recommend to anyone looking to stay in the area. Parking is excellent."

"Lovely cosy cottage for two people, and a small to medium sized dog. Lots of exposed wooden beams, including a few to duck under. Good sized kitchen/ dining room and bedroom, and snug lounge. Enclosed shared patio and garden, but also access to huge enclosed field / young orchard : great for the dog. Good location near Canterbury, and easy walking to nearby woods. Local pub 5mins walk with lovely food, especially Sun roast."

"I really can not say how much of a fabulous choice staying at Customs House was to celebrate my mums 70th Birthday. Right from the beginning, the contact with Bloom Stays was easy, informative and friendly. The emails had all the information we needed or asked for. The house itself is perfectly situated on Standard Quay, just yards away from antique shops, Cafes, a Pub and beautiful views across Ham Farm. The house was perfectly equipped. We held an afternoon tea on one of the days and the kitchen had everything we needed and the communal area of the dining room and front room all flowed perfect for a social gathering. The rooms were well appointed, gorgeously comfy beds, with enough bathrooms for all. A separate snug front room served well for those wanting some peace and quiet from the main room. We really could not have wished for a better place to stay. I hope to book again in the future."

"The living space is really nice for a family. The kitchen is well equipped to make any kind of meal. The extra fridge in the utility room was a bonus. It has a real country feeling and the added hot tub which is maintained so well was great to unwind. They kindly left us bread, milk, butter , bread, juice and a bottle of wine. All bedrooms were lovely with lovely bedding and fluffy towels."

"Had a lovely stay at the coach house, with my 3 daughters and dog. Alison and Philip were really helpful and care about the experience of their guests. Some really nice and helpful elements about this property. Lots of information leaflets about the local area and places of interest, a really helpful guide to where to find things in the house etc. the homemade shortbread, milk, tea bags and fresh eggs! We were in urgent need of a cup of team on arrival and this was such a welcoming touch. I was also grateful for the hand soap, which I forgot to bring and then also forgot to get when I went to the shops! There were some other really nice thought out aspects, such as dog bed and blankets on sofas. Loads of tea towels (things I had brought because I you never know!). I already had the chance to let Philip know what a fabulous BBQ they have provided (it’s solid and just wow!). The outdoor eating space was perfect for us and Alfie’s field great for little kids to explore and perfect for the dog to have his morning wee when the human isn’t ready to go far! Also, the pillows! I would say it’s rare to have a good pillow at a cottage but these were lovely! I slept like a log and that’s quite unusual. There’s the usual expected games, books DVDs for rainy days. Located perfectly to explore whitstable and Thanet beaches, so nice that there are dog friendly beaches, even in the height of summer. We had a very nice time and I would certainly recommend."
