"This was one of our best experiences at an apartment and made a long lasting effect on us. Radolia treated us like his own family and made is feel at home and showed us the best places to go. Highly recommended."
"Lovely staff made all the difference. We arrived early just to drop off our bags and head back out but they immediately offered us to take breakfast and coffee/tea whilst we await a taxi. Rooms are really nice and modern, comfortable and quiet with a lovely view from the balcony."
"I wouldn't stay there again; you can certainly find many better options in Kotor. Too noisy, no curtains on the windows, too many stairs, no parking, and the host is very polite but unsympathetic."
"Excellent nice, a bit small, but modern and clean apartment. It is a quiet place in the mountains.
Would be nice though to have softer mattresses, power sockets and night light fixtures at the night stands by the bed. Unfortunately, AC is available only in the living room, which left other rooms quite hot during the sunny days.
While property has on-site secured gated parking, it should have a blind spot mirrors. Absence of which already have cased a damage to our rental car."
"Location in old town is fantastic, if you like clubbing and partying. Room is noisy and party just below windows is till about 3 o'clock in the night.
We didn't bother much about noise though, we sleep easily.
To be fair I think the guesthouse has 3 proper rooms that would be okay if you're not scared of the noise and poor service, rooms 1, 2 and 3 looked decent enough. Unluckily we had room number 4.
We were mainly frustrated that the room they put us in was not really shown in the photos...
"Awful. Struggled to find the Turkish owner to check in. Smell from the bathroom.
Persistent buzzing / ringing sound from the fuse box started at 11.00 pm. The owner came fiddled around with it.
Said it wasn't his responsibility it's just "Montenegro electrics." The ringing / buzzing unbelievably went on all night - impossible to sleep. The owner wouldn't move me another room or refund me."

"The Kotor Nest is a hidden away gem. The staff is friendly and helpful and the accommodation, right in the heart of Kotor Old town is comfortable and stylish. Aircon worked well. No breakfast available (just coffee from a machine which was good) but steps away, are many restaurants with breakfast options. Shared fridge space was a help. Reception is up two flights of stairs, no lift, just to be aware. We highly recommend this hotel."
"We didn’t actually stay in the Puerta apartments, they were full so they put us in their Athos apartments. Meets the most basic of needs but could use improvements. Staff was friendly at first but then almost nonexistent after that. The top of the door handle came completely off when trying to lock it from the outside and I never got a response after telling them about the issue. The WiFi didn’t work which we also communicated to them with no response until we found one of the staff members and basically made him come up to the apartment to fix it as he tried to blow us off. The floors outside the bathroom has water damage from the shower that barely keeps water within its base and the shower curtain might as well not be there for all it does. The location is great though. "
"This hotel was fantastic!!!! Everything from the decor, both in the common areas and rooms. There are two restaurants one in the square, and one on top of the old city wall, offering excellent food. The location is ideal, right in the heart of old town. The staff went above and beyond with absolutely everything to ensure we had the best stay.
If I could give them more than five stars I would. "
"Beautiful property. Our room was huge, with a kitchen and washing machine. The patio was nice. The food at the restaurant was lovely and well priced for what you got.
The people were very friendly and answered our many questions.
The pool was beautiful. The only drawback was the distance from the city center but they offered rides for a fee (cheaper than taxis) and parking was free from what I understand. "
"Wow such a beautiful property! So clean and designed well. Very spacious as well. Service was wonderful. Would come back to Kotor just to stay here again!"
"There hotel is wonderful. Located near the Sea Gate for easy access, it only has 9 large rooms with names, not numbers. The interior is unique with quality marble in the spacious bathroom. The hotel is associated with a quality restaurant and breakfast can be eaten outside. Kotor's Old Town is magical and the Boutique Hotel Astoria is the perfect place to stay."
"Front desk staff were very helpful and the parking was made simple due to staff assistance. Great location in old town. Clean rooms. A little bit loud in the evening due to proximity to a few bars. "
