"Staff very friendly, Hotel itself was beautiful seems at first to be in a run down area but only a few mins walk away from the busy centre of St Julian's. Internet was patchy and that seemed to apply to the whole of Malta don''t expect to be 5g gaming. Malta is small and the city areas are packed so we just used e-cabs or bolt everywhere. "I had an amazing stay at San Karlu! The location is perfect—just a short walk (less than 10 minutes) from the main bus stop and close to bars, restaurants, and the main square of Veleta.
The staff were incredibly friendly, and I especially want to thank Florianne, who was so helpful with recommendations and guidance on using public transport.
The hotel itself is spotless and offers great amenities. The swimming pool was a highlight—perfect for cooling off in Malta’s heat—and there’s a bar and food service if you feel like lounging by the pool all day.
