Located directly on the sand in beautiful Treasure Island and just over the John's Pass bridge, this resort offers a perfect place to spend your Florida vacation. With only 40 privately owned condominiums, the South Beach Resort is a small, very modern and upscale building giving you the comfort and privacy that is so hard to find, and makes for such a wonderful stay.

Great Beach Vacation

The check in process was easy and the room was clean. It was fully furnished and had a lot of towels. We had sunny skies and perfect weather the whole vacation in April so the views were breathtaking. Short walk to the beach each day. There were pool/beach toys in the room and the pool was heated and a perfect size. We liked playing shuffleboard and ping pong. The location was also great with many restaurants close by and ice cream a short walk away. We went on a couple boat tours in John's Pass which was a 5 min drive away. Overall this was a great condo with beautiful views and we will be staying here again.

Easy and comfortable

Clean & comfy . Easy to reserve , locate, check in and check out . Most important easy access to beach & $ reasonable . Good restaurants and shopping. This end unit has a great view of sunset and moon rise and of course the beach .

Great location

This was our second time staying at South Beach. We really love the location and style of the building. Our condo was fine for my husband and I and 2 adult daughters. Only complaint was that the property, specifically the landscaping was dead and unkept. Room was pretty good but could use new flooring. Several broken tiles. Would be nice to have a bigger bathroom in the master.

Nice getaway

We enjoyed our stay, we were disappointed only with the fact that the information said there were beach chairs in the condo that we could use so we did not bring any of our own and there were none in the condo so we had to pay $30.00 a day for rental that we did not plan to do. Otherwise, we loved the condo, the location, the walking path. We were very impressed with how clean the groundskeeper and the staff kept the yards looking. We will definitely stay again should we come back this direction but will bring our own chairs. Thank you for a wonderful week!

Do not rent this property

We rent property pretty much on every vacation we take. This was the worst property I have ever stayed in. The condo was not clean, old, everything inside needs to be replaced or gutted. It has a million dollar view out the patio doors (the side windows needs the nasty messed up screen removed so you can actually see out of them) but the unit is horrible.

Christmas on the Beach

We had a lovely time in our condo on the fifth floor! We needed two beds in one bedroom and this condo had that. The photos are accurate which is always a plus - it was as advertised. we enjoyed the TV - lots of channels and the balcony was lovely. We used the refrigerator and the microwave to heat water - no cooking! The seating in the living room was comfortable but very, very low to the ground (hard to get out of). There was a sand sculpture competition down the beach a month ago and the entries still looked great. John's Pass (shopping area) was within walking distance and the other three in our party went there for coffee every morning. Yes, there's everything you need to make coffee here but they like to go out for coffee. There were some nice restaurants very close to our condo.

Not as expected

The property description states that the unit is "modern, with all the Amenities," and has a "Fully equipped kitchen," both of which are blatantly untrue. The kitchen didn't have a full set of ANY dishes, glassware, or flatware, so we were constantly having to wash dishes, even though we were only there for 3 days. The unit also had several spots on various walls that had huge chunks missing, which seems like it would be a relatively simple fix. I will say that the view from the balcony is lovely, but given how many other property options are available, I doubt that we'd return to stay at this one.

This condo is perfect. We’ve stay at South Beach before and always enjoyed it. We love that there is not a ton of units. Makes it feel less crowded. We stayed several nights so I always love a washer and dryer in the unit. You have plenty of beach chairs and sand toys. I would choose this condo again and again.

Family Vacation

Great location and beautiful views of the Gulf. The beds in the condo was not comfortable at all. Master was very hard and second bedroom bed was like sleeping on a cot. No batteries in the remote in bedroom 2 so check remotes if not working.The hallway closet with Beach items was a plus (chairs, umbrella,pool noodles,etc..) Overall there are some little things where this unit could use some TLC and updates,but would definitely stay here again for the location and easy access to attractions and dining.

Fun vacation

The condo is very clean, situated right on the beach. Near many restaurants and a Publix. Twin beds would be great for kids, but were small and uncomfortable for adults. Otherwise this is a great condo. View is wonderful. Treasure Island as always was beautiful. Most everything is up and running post hurricane. They’ve done a lot of work, and things are looking good.

Only negative was the 2 twin beds. My daughter and 23 year old granddaughter said they were uncomfortable and noisy. Having washer and dryer was a plus. The ice maker was a nice addition. Thanks for a lovely stay with a perfect view.
