Hidden Gem

An amazing property in the center of the most wonderful village. Four great bedrooms all equal to each other and well appointed kitchen leading onto a covered outdoor patio. The perfect pool to cool off in on a warm summer day and a host who is engaging and helpful. All in all a great place to stay that we’d all highly recommend.

A haven in St Remy

The house is beautiful and very well appointed. The yard and the pool area are spectacular. It was a pleasure to explore the wonders of Provence and return late in the afternoon and relax by the pool. It provided a quiet haven in a beautiful setting. The location of the house is just a short walk to restaurants, shopping, and groceries. The parking on premises is very convenient and secure. We highly recommend this property.

Magnifique!!

The owner, Genevieve, has renovated this 300 year old home to perfection. Every room is beautiful with modern plumbing and perfect attention to detail. The backyard was incredible and the small pool a relaxing end to our days traveling around Provence. St Rémy is a beautiful town that was full of great shopping and restaurants. What a joy to step around the corner each morning for patisserie and bread. Every time we had a question about something in the house we didn’t understand how to use, Genevieve came over within minutes to help us. She is the ultimate host! Book this place for your dream vacation in Provence!!

Wonderful home in the heart of St. Remy

We had the most lovely stay in this beautiful home. Genevieve was an excellent host. She went above and beyond by booking us a dinner reservation, and making sure the pool was ready (in the off-season) for our kids to enjoy. The house itself is beautiful and huge, as well as perfectly located just off the main ring around the center of town. Highly, highly recommend. We will definitely be back.

Our VRBO house in Saint Remy was wonderful, a gem located in the heart of this lovely town. Geneviève, our VRBO hostess, was truly exceptional from start to finish. She was always available to answer questions as we were trying to set up this rental. She greeted us warmly upon arrival and gave us a thorough tour of the house, making sure we understood how everything worked. She even supplied us with a beautiful bottle of champagne, fruit, and a bottle of olive oil which she produced from her olive grove. When it was time to leave, she helped make our departure, smooth and stress-free. The house itself was an ideal retreat - private, quiet, delightful, secure. The house had four spacious and nicely decorated bedrooms, each with its own full bathrooms. The kitchen and dining area were well appointed with everything we need for preparing and enjoying meals together. It also included a wonderful outdoor pool, which we enjoyed during our stay. The air-conditioning unit units throughout the house were excellent and much appreciated, especially during the hotter days. In sum, we really enjoyed staying at this house.

Better than expected

The house has four very large bedrooms and four separate showers in addition to two freestanding bathtubs. Parking for at least two cars and also has a charger for an electric car. The walk into town is literally 2 to 3 minutes. The cars in the entrance to the house are all behind a solid electric gate. It is very secure. Almost everything is a little bit better than in the pictures.

Magical week in St Remy!

We were a family group of seven adults, and we all found the home and surrounding area breathtaking. The Bastide de Lily is lovely - the pictures are all accurate and yet do not do it justice. It is spacious, well appointed, tasteful and comfortable with so many thoughtful touches for a wonderful stay. All four of the bedrooms with ensuite baths are large and equally lovely. The pool and outdoor area are heaven on earth . The location is walkable to restaurants, and there is a supermarket and a gourmet shop just steps away. We took advantage of all the attractions of St Remy from shopping to Roman ruins and museums. With a car, there are many fabulous day trips to vineyards, historic villages like Les Baux and Gordes perched on mountains, and the Pont du Gard. Our hostess Genevieve greeted us for a gracious and seamless check in. We loved every minute. I hope to return soon!

Superb Property and Host

The location of this property is perfect. The heart of St Rémy a block away. A grocery market steps from the door. The house itself is lovely. Large kitchen doors open to the pool and charming yard. The very private pool is larger than it appears in the listing photos, and can be heated to over 30/86 degrees. There's room to park at least two cars, one in a garage, both behind a privacy/security gate. The home's interior is essentially new - airy, bright, very clean. The kitchen is nicely equipped, with new appliances, a large table and very convenient island. The home's other large common room offers plenty of seating and a large tv for movies, etc. Each bedroom has its own bath, and all feel freshly remodeled. We slept well, in a comfortable bed, with the windows open to cool September evenings. This is a home with fun details, remodeled in excellent taste. The host is a joy. Mme Blanc is professional, kind, patient and attentive. We consider ourselves demanding guests. During our last visit to Provence, we stayed at La Mirande in Avignon - a 5-star hotel. We loved La Mirande, but will return to Mme Blanc's beautiful property.

Amazing! “Home away from home”

We can’t say enough about the house, the wonderful host, and location ! Excellent to say the least. Just steps from the loop road around Saint Remy. All shops, restaurants and market day are a short walk away.Geneviève was a terrific host, from a personal guided tour of the house at check in to arranging dinner reservations for our favorite meal at Tete D’ail. It was a highlight of a very special trip and we hope to return soon.
