You'll have the entire home to yourself and will only share it with other guests in your party.

Roomy updated 1950’s cottage in the perfect spot on the island!

With two living areas there is room for the book reader, the game player, or the TV viewer. We created a small home office area for those of you lucky enough to work from “home”!

We of course hope we share enough travel and dining tips you’re just there to sleep and relax before your next days outing! There is a nice kitchen with dishwasher, microwave, gas range and oven. A gas grill in the back patio helps for dining in options.

This 1950’s cottage take you back to a simpler time yet with all the comforts expected! Two FULL BATHROOMS make it comfortable for family and friends.

We’ve completed a full exterior renovation with new porches, Azec decking, roof and paint! There is seating on both the screened and open sides of the porch, as well as the backyard.

We keep our home sprayed quarterly for bugs and and we clean to the highest standards!

Once you book, I am always available via VRBO messaging or give me a call/text. We want you to enjoy our home as much as we do!

Beach Retreat

Awesome cottage close to beaches and restaurants! You truly will feel like a local when you stay here. Walk to seafood, BBQ, and Pelican Market. Beds were so comfortable and kitchen is stocked with anything you need. We’re planning our next visit!

Very Relaxing!

We really enjoyed staying at this house. The beds were very comfortable! The kitchen was one of the most equipped that I have seen and the front screened porch was so relaxing for morning coffee. You can walk to restaurants and shops from the house. It was fantastic!

Perfect beach getaway

Perfect location

Overall excellent house, and great location. Will stay at this house again if we come back to this area for vacation. One thing I have to mention, is that they took the time to label all the light switches. Makes so easy to know what to turn on or off. These are just of the many things that make this place exceptional.

"Easy Walk to Beach" was a spacious cottage with a good location. Proximity to restaurants [Crab Shack/King and Prince] and short walk to the beach. Lot of goodies upon arrival and the things you need. Stuart was most helpful and pleasant to work with. Highly recommend it.

Great Neighborhood & Easy Access

We enjoyed our visit to St Simons and our stay in this home. We only used one bedroom, but there are three, and there is an extra "bonus room" where my husband worked remotely a couple of days. Right behind the Crap Trap, it's in a wonderful location for walking to bars and restaurants, and the neighborhood is great to walk as well. Very important to me is that one of my legs is in a boot. Myrtle Street is a block away, and that gives such easy access to the beach. You can even skip the boardwalk and walk right on! The house was very clean and nicely decorated. Stuart, the owner, is very responsive and got back to us immediately with anything we needed, including questions ahead of time.

Awesome property and location

We LOVED this property. We had 4 adults and 1 child and it was perfect! The layout is so family friendly and just what we needed. Beds are always important to us... if the beds aren’t comfortable... we won’t be back. These beds were all very comfortable. The den area was the perfect place to hang out. The kitchen was great too. And the porches were awesome. Basically we LOVED the house. The area was perfect! Not far from some restaurants and a mile to downtown. We really hope to be back. Thank you for a great home!

Family time paradise!

Our 1st family Christmas get away! It was beyond measure the best time ever. The house gives you that feel of being home. It is exactly like pictured plus more. The beds are so comfortable and we all slept amazing. The kitchen had all you would need to prepare a meal. Stuart went above and beyond to make our time here amazing. I highly recommend this rental, you will feel like you are home when you walk in the door. So many things are within a short walking distance, beach, restaurants, shops. The neighborhood is so quite and friendly. Our family after one stay all agreed a 5 star rating isn’t enough it would be a 10. We will definitely stay again and go back to St. Simon. Can’t wait to return and stay at this rental.

A Situation with No Solution

Renting this process was easy to set up, and the host had good communication around the initial booking (months prior to our stay); however, the house was not prepared for guests. It was upon arrival when the host mentioned that internet may not work due to a new router installed. This was compounded by the AC unit not working on arrival as well. We had to restart the AC, and the host tried to restart the wifi router but could not. These two situations instilled a fear of being taken advantage of by the host, on top of being uncomfortably hot and having to arrange different solutions for remote work that needed to happen. Voicing these concerns led to the host asking us to leave her property if we wanted a refund and VRBO finding emergency accommodations for us. It was the most stressful way to start a vacation, and the request to leave put us in shock. I’ve never been treated so rudely or had my experiences disregarded by a host in this way, and it left us with a very bad experience and still seeking to hear from the review committee about a full refund. Please help.

Perfection!

What can I say… this sweet home was absolute perfection for our family! Stuart’s home was well equipped for not only the adults in our family, but she was considerate enough to have baby gear waiting for us for our son. She was prompt with replies to any questions we had, and gave great recommendations for places to eat and things to do on the island. The house was impeccably clean, inside and out. We cannot wait to come back!

Wonderful Host and Home

The pictures really dont do this house justice. there is so much space and is so comfortable. Stuart was so easy to work with and she continuously checked in on us to make sure our stay was going well. She cares deeply about the guests experience in her home and I couldn't reccomend this place enough. The location is also amazing.

Great location great house

We stayed over spring break. The island was busier than we were used to but the house and the location were tremendous. The front porch is great for sitting with your family, listening to music and relaxing. The house has plenty of room for at least 6 people maybe more (it was just the four of us). The house is a short walk to the beach and a stones throw to some of our favorite restaurants. Stuart was easy to get ahold of but honestly we didn’t need her. Couldn’t ask for a better host, house or location for our family of four.

Great Thanksgiving Gathering

What a terrific property for a wonderful family and friends Thanksgiving. Perfect location and amazing attention to detail for guests’ comfort. Such an easy checkin and stay. So many thing supplied in the kitchen. Felt like home from the minute you walk in the door. Great beach memories made this past week. We will be back!
