Oceanfront Cottage on a Quiet Cove Just Outside Lunenburg

"Nice quiet spot on the water, yet close to amenities in Lunenburg. The cottage was clean, roomy, and super well equipped with everything needed for a relaxing stay. Hosts communication was great and we really enjoyed our time there!"
"Awesome property! Beautifully maintained!! The hosts were very welcoming, friendly and helpful. Our room was very clean and comfortable and the attached bathroom spacious and clean as well. Breakfast was served in the beautiful dining room and catered to every need and want, from fruits and breads to cereal and pancakes or full traditional bacon/sausage, eggs and toast all made to order. We would certainly stay again when in the area. Highly recommend!"
"The Fisherman's daughter was a lovely spot to stay in Mahone Bay. You are greeted upon arrival by the owner Cathy and she takes you on a tour of the property. Cathy is very knowledgeable about Mahone Bay and things to do.
I highly recommend staying here. The bonus is her chocolate lab Murphy who is a very good boy and will hangout with you outside. "

"The house is in a beautiful position and has amazing views.
It is a comfortable size and plenty of equipment and little welcome features.
I booked the property when it was described as two double beds in two rooms and two bedrooms with a double bed in each .This was perfect for us.
That was not the case and we had to double up with people we would not usually sleep with.
Also the leaving time was moved to 10 am and l especially wanted a property with 11 am. Only found this out when trying to find out when we leave where to put the key.
The furniture is dirty and only 4 dining chairs one with a ripped seat.
The downstairs bathroom had to be cleaned( l have photos) the shelves in upstairs bathroom had toothpaste on them.
Fridge door and other areas very grubby
If this property was clean and it would be wonderful.
The beds were very clean and comfortable and clean thick towels.Thankyou.

"Small Inn but great location On Montague Street Easy walk to restaurants and many art galleries.
waterfront about 100 meters away.Staff very friendly and helpful with luggage and locating parking. room with king sized bed a bit small but comfortable. they have an elevator to make moving luggage easy.

"Wonderful week in this clean, comfortable and modern cottage. All the facilities we needed for self catering and just a short walk to the supermarket shops and restaurants in Mahone Bay. Good base for exploring the South Shore including Lunenburg and Peggy’s Cove. Hired bikes from the local bike shop and enjoyed some of the local bike trails. Lovely quiet area and was nice to sit out on the front porch with a drink after a day exploring. "
