Thieves on the hill - not enough security

On second night, rented vehicle had the four tires stolen of the car. Learned only 2security guards on duty at night (4 was recommended) and no cameras for observation.

Overall the room met our expectations as shown,I am a native Virgin Islander an use the hotel as often as possible.

Brennedy is amazing

Love the breakfast bar and bartender. Our room was filthy like never been swept. Bed was comfortable. Was moved on our last night and hit with extra fees. Won't be coming back.

I have stayed there before and I knew it would be nice, only issue is there were mosquitoes and little flies in the room. I also have a pet peeve about finding hair from previous visitor I'm the bathroom.

Bluebeards Castle, I love it. Wonderful place.

What a wonderful place, Bluebeards is truely a beautiful resort, with the most friendly helpful staff of any place we have ever stayed.

The hotel is centrally located, so it's perfect to get to everything quickly. It's very breezy, and the view of the harbor is beautiful!

Carnival Getaway

Hotel Restaurant food is good. Love the mojito drink I had at the bar, the best I ever had. The hotel is a nice quit place great view of St. Thomas. Hotel staff is ok not the best but they ok they was helpful to me getting cabs and information. My room was ok nothing to talk about, Its basic. The hotel is on top of a hill so wooooooo!!!! if you don't tke a cab or have a rental that hill is not good for a person with a bad heart and it look creepy at night. walking up that hill. Of cause me and my friends did walk it sometime.

Convenient but has it's faults.

We arrived on Tuesday and left the following Monday, no one came and clean the room at all. I think that was not good at all. We called daily for clean towels and they gave it to us. We put our trash outside the door every night and that was it. I was a little disappointed in that. The only problem that I truly have with Bluebeard's Castle is if you're disable and can't walk up and down the stairs, there are no elevators. Also, it's one way in and one way out it you park up by the lobby. It's so inconvenient.

Not very friendly, old place

The front desk was not helpful for small requests, basically said no to every request. The room in East Castle smelled of mildew, the couch in the room sagged when sitting on it, there is no daily housekeeping. Banks of air conditioning units droned constantly outside the door.

Overall Nice Hotel. I would stay again.

I went to St. Thomas with family and friends for my birthday. The staff was absolutely incredible! They were very accommodating and responsive to all requests. The two highlights of the trip was the incredible scenic view of the island along with the view of Cruise Ship Harbor (the rooms overlook the harbor that the cruise ships come in to) and the restaurants & bars. They have two of each on premises and they all are pretty good. Room With A View restaurant was amazing. The seafood was fresh caught that same day and we got a chance to see the vendor bring in the catch (thanks to the manager for letting us see this). Cabana Bar has an amazing staff (check out bartender Nico) and a very good happy hour. Monday nights are Karaoke Night which was fun, as a LOT of locals come out for this event. The Banana Tree Grill has a nice tasting menu of food and their happy hour is good also. The property is clean and well maintained with a Caribbean/West Indies feel. Be warned though -- this is more of an island thing than the hotel. The island is dominated by "van taxi's", so they charge by PERSON and not GROUP. So every time we left the hotel, it was a $10 hit to each person. That can get really expensive quickly. However, with the awful winding roads and the fact that the cars drive on the opposite side of the road as do the British, you would not want to drive on the island at night.

Lovely Condo

Lovely spacious unit. A bargain for the price. Great view. The traffic was a little noisey out on the balcony but it is in the main town area. Brand new kitchen. Huge comfy bed. Lots of space.

Quiet spacious convenient

Second time we stayed. Walking distance to town, attractions, etc. quiet, kitchen and laundry in our room. Enjoy peace and quiet. Private balcony to the harbor.

Awesome Hotel

The hotel was excellent. We had plenty of room. The view was wonderful. I could have sat on the deck and watched the bay and town all day long. The staff was very helpful. There was always a taxi when we needed it. The food and drinks were very good. We would recommend staying there and probably well stay there again.

Really enjoy this nice old remodeled hotel.

Really enjoy this nice old hotel. They've done some remodeling. The restaurants and pool area are fabulous and the views are a delightful. Because it's an old hotel it's a little bit challenging for people with physical disabilities. A lot of stairs, but those who can walk well would really enjoy this venue.

Wedding Guest Get-A-Way

Enjoyed the hotel and amenities to include pool, convenience store, fitness area, restaurants and concierge who made great recommendations for sights around town! Room spacious! Bedroom and living area with pull out sofa, dining area and kitchenette. Friendly staff! Had a wonderful time!
