We enjoyed our stay at Island view guesthouse. The hotel staff was awesome: very personable and sweet, always there if you need anything. The views were breathtaking! Our room was nice and spacious with a comfortable bed. We also liked the restaurant and the bar concept. Highly recommend!

Island View Guest House was excellent! We booked our trip a little late so there weren’t many options but we are not disappointed with them at all. The Christmas dinner menu was top notch. The taxi they recommended was the best we used.

Our stay at Island View was amazing. I’d highly recommend to anyone looking to visit St. Thomas. The view is incredible and the experience is private, unique, and intimate. The staff are all incredibly nice and helpful - they assisted us with everything from providing extra towels to scheduling taxis for excursions at the drop of a dime. The breakfast was cooked fresh every morning and dinner at the steakhouse was fantastic. Marshal came out and talked to us about how he prepared each dish after our meal which was fascinating. For anyone looking for a break from the commoditized and corporate feel of a big hotel chain, go to island view.

The room was quaint and clean. The air-conditioning worked great (they have a split-pack which worked great). The staff was super nice. The owner is the chef and the food is delicious. We also met him and he is super nice. The views are incredible. The drive is different, you drive on the left side, and the roads are very steep. Overall our stay was great.

Gorgeous view!!! Staff were amazing (special shout out to Marlyn who was so kind throughout our stay). The rooms are SO clean!! I wish the restaurant was open while we were there because we repeatedly heard from other locals that they have the best steak on the island!

Island Guesthouse is a beautiful property. The view is spectacular. The rooms are clean. The staff was great. The evening meal in the restaurant was exceptional. I chose this facility because of the consistently great reviews. I was not disappointed. I do have some suggestions though. Breakfast needs variety and it would be great to accommodate various diets. The patio chairs should be higher so one can see over the banister. Firm pillow options would be great too. I loved it here. I would definitely recommend it.

Amazing guesthouse!

Despite the insane incline to drive up to the place, thin walls that me and my now fiance had an entertaining listen of a night of another couple, and challenge of finding out the secret method to having hot water (turn on the hot water on the sink first for a while before using the shower lol) the stay was legit incredible. I know it sounds crazy but I’d definitely stay there again. Staff were very friendly and you cannot beat the view of the island. The breakfast was really good and the rooms were comfortable. Check in and out was very easy. I’d definitely stay again.
