Magen`s Bay Villa | Tesla Solar Power

  • Set on a scenic Northstar Village hillside, Blue Vista is a serene 2-bedroom, 2-bathroom retreat designed around its expansive island views. Bright, airy living areas feature contemporary finishes, including stone-tile floors and wood-paneled accents, while the bedrooms and veranda frame the tropical bay and surrounding islands.

    The primary bedroom has an en-suite bathroom for added privacy. After a beach day or island outing, return to air-conditioned bedrooms and unwind on the veranda with its outdoor furniture—an inviting spot for morning coffee, evening cocktails, reading, or conversation amid the sounds of nature.

    Highlights include:
    • Air conditioning in both bedrooms and ceiling fans
    • Kitchen with stainless steel oven, refrigerator, freezer, microwave, dishwasher, blender, toaster, drip coffee maker, espresso machine, and dining table
    • Free in-unit washer and dryer
    • Wifi, Ethernet connection, and HDTV with Amazon Prime Video
    • Private patio or balcony with bay, sea, beach, ocean, and mountain views
    • Solar panels and a Tesla Powerwall to support a greener stay and provide resilience during local power outages

The house was immaculate and the view of Megan's Bay was incredible. The kitchen was fully stacked with everything you need. The street is tight, not that much room to turn around, but it can be done. We had an amazing time and communication with the property manager was excellent. We'd love to go back.

Amazing view from the balcony and the villa was exactly as advertised — serene, quiet, and very clean. It was a little confusing to find at first, but the staff responded immediately and helped us without any issues. The location near the top of the mountain made for a peaceful and relaxing stay.One piece of advice for future guests: plan a full day of activities once you head down from the villa and return later in the evening. Driving up and down the mountain multiple times can use a lot of gas and may cause a bit of car sickness on the winding roads.

This location very much suited our needs. The unit’s amenities were perfect for our stay. The beds were comfy, the towels plush and the kitchen was adequately equipped for us to make our meals.The Prestige team was responsive and our experience wonderful!

My stay at this property was amazing. It was clean, wonderful view of Magens, and the house made me feel like home away from home.

Worth the stay.

Good Location-very quiet with no traffic. Great views of Magens Bay and ocean skyline. Management responsive to requests. Overall, a good stay.

Beautiful view and a fantastic vacation. My son and I called this homebase for our stay in St Thomas before he deploys in April. The unit was perfect for what we needed! Separate rooms and bathrooms was the selling point. Parking was a challenge the 1st day but I became a pro after that. Everything was as advertised and the Tesla backup did get used as the entire island lost power but the a/c and lights were still on in the house. Both my son and I enjoyed this property and the island! I definitely would recommend this property for 2 couples or a small family. I definitely would stay again and my son is already planning a vacation when he returns from his deployment...maybe we'll be back here?

Great family vacation

Blue Vista is very nice and clean, with drop dead beautiful views overlooking Magens Bay. Looks like it was just recently renovated. Host was extremely helpful with everything we needed. We would definitely book again.

Privacy

The property is located on a dead end road with almost zero traffic. High up on the mountain with gorgeous views yet only minutes from the beach. Numerous convenience stores nearby. I will definitely be back.

January 2024 trip to St Thomas

This place was perfect for our trip to St Thomas. Our party consisted of two couples in our 50's. The view is fabulous. The beds were really comfortable. The place was spotless when we arrived. Our host was extremely accommodating. Note that you should have a 4 wheel drive vehicle if staying here but that is pretty much the case with any of the houses in the higher parts of the island.

Fabulous place with unbelievable view!

Perfect! Cleanest cutest nicest place with comfy beds. You can tell it’s been newly remodeled. It was just perfect! Our party of three all agree, 10/10. I mean the place alone gets a 10 and I haven’t even mentioned the view. Incredible billion dollar view!!! Seriously, over looking all the islands and one of the most beautiful beaches in the world 100/10. Highly recommended!!!

We arrived on island and had all the information ahead of the check in day. The house was clean and wow what a view from the balcony, living room and dining room. Kitchen was nice but could use silverware for four complete. Cappacino machine, 4 cup filter coffee machine with microwave. Pans, glasses adequate supply of essentials. Bedrooms, king size beds that are comfortable, second bedroom had beach towels and beach blankets/chair cover for you. Split units in the bedrooms worked great for ac and fans throughout living and kitchen. Bathrooms were clean and nice, ample supply of towels, bath clothes and hand towels. Washer and dryer is nice to have (bring your washing pods). Okay! The BEST thing was Justin!!! We had the co ordinates and we tried for an hour to find this place. Living on an hour myself GPS is not always perfect. We called him and I was frustrated BUT we faced timed in reverse so he could see where we were and he literally got us at the house! He was great!! Pin the house when you get there on your phone. We never had a problem after that. The turn for the street the house is on will sneak up on you. Not well marked and doesn’t look like a street. We would go back for sure and it was convenient to where we went. Eat at Agave Bar and Tequilla Rest and Sambuca’s, Mtn top grap a Banana Dacquri, Blackbeards Castle and Magens Beach the best very family friendly. If we had gone there first we would have gone anywhere else. Thanks again Justin!!

Breathtaking View

The St. Thomas vacation guide that you pick up at the airport or Red Hook lists Mountain Top as #7 of the best things to do for the view, citing that National Geographic has rated this view as one of the 10 best in the world. This house has that view, from a slightly lower elevation that makes it even more panoramic than Mountain Top's platform, and you get to enjoy it all day without the throngs of pushy vlogging tourists. I rented this house to have a view and it absolutely did not disappoint! Loved starting every day in PJs, coffee in hand, watching the sunrise over this amazing panorama. Having a fridge that dispensed filtered water was a bonus that simplified shopping (we usually buy water when staying in cistern houses but not here). We did have a problem with the WiFi but the management company was responsive and sent someone to install a cellular fix quickly until the cable company could complete the repairs. If you want to be near the bars and hoopla of town this is not the house for you. But if you like a quiet neighborhood and one of the "10 best views in the world" all to yourself then this is it.
