Like much of the Caribbean, St. Thomas occasionally experiences island-wide utility interruptions. Sapphire Village currently operates a backup generator that powers common areas, pathways, stairwells, and essential property services.

Even better, Sapphire Village is currently installing an expanded backup generation system scheduled for completion in Summer 2026. Once operational, the upgraded system will provide full power to individual units during utility outages, offering guests an even more comfortable and reliable vacation experience.
