What a tropical paradise! We were blown away by Hideaway! If you are looking for a private, family or couple getaway, this is the best place around! The simplicity might be a little less than what some want, but the stay met every one of our needs. The environment was beautiful and the beach was our favorite on the island! Little touches everywhere were not overlooked by my family.
The room was incredible and the grounds beyond amazing. The property is a few steps from Hull Bay beach and the restaurant’s food is delicious. Highly recommend!
The Hideaway was in a great location away from the rest of the island. They did a great job with the landscaping and the farm was well kept. Our two bedroom cottage was great - clean and quiet. We highly recommend this place if you want to be away from the busyness of the island.
I loved this resort, if you are looking for a true island experience Hideaway Bay is for you. Located on the north side of the island, off the beaten path. The tranquility of the resort is fantastic. I hardly saw any other travelers on the resort. I would recommend this resort for deep relaxation and rest. Hideaway would also make a great honeymoon destination!
A gem of a resort tucked away on a quiet part of the island. If you're looking for a big resort with a ton of amenitites this won't be for you but if you're looking for a beautiful home base to explore the island and a bit of serenity this is perfect.
We really enjoyed our stay. The property was quiet, and the area felt less touristy than other areas of the island. It had a very nice pool surrounded by lush vegetation, and a beach steps away. The Shack restaurant next door also had a very cool vibe and great food.
We stayed 2 nights in Villa 1 and it was a lovely experience. The villa was beautiful and the location was fantastic, right across from the beach. We ate at the Shack a couple times and loved the casual food and the atmosphere. The live music was excellent as well. Highly recommend staying here for a few nights.
We stayed here two nights with some friends prior to taking a catamaran trip. We stayed in villa 2 and it was great. The drive from the airport is interesting but doable. The actual area around the villa is amazing and low key. Could easily walk across the street to the beach and The Shack was great for lunch and dinner. The villa itself was great and could have stayed much longer. The bed rooms were good size and bathrooms were fine. The upstairs was a great open space with large kitchen and living area that was perfect for our group and making breakfast.
Absolutely incredible stay at Hideaway! Would highly recommend. Very clean, updated, and spacious accomodations. Steps from the beach. Staff was incredibly nice and responsive. It is on a very quiet and secluded part of the island so would recommend renting a Jeep. We also loved walking over to the Shak to grab a yummy lunch or dinner.

Nice property in a beautiful location! Everything was as described, except the pictures of this place couldn’t possibly do it justice. Warm, calm water, friendly locals, and the sunset was amazing!
Exactly as described in the pictures. Has a very good restaurant right next to it called The Shack. Beach is right next to the property with access to beach chairs and towels. Overall a good stay.
Would have loved if they had a small coffee shop on the premises with extended hours.
The place was adorable. We were right by the pool and they had everything you need poolside (games, ice water, floats). Hammock outside the room with patio. Super cozy!!
If you're not a person who likes big resorts and looks for something a little more low key, The Hideaway is it. Beautiful, well-kept grounds. The room was fresh and clean. The pool and pavilion are in the middle of the cottages, and the beach is literally right outside the gate. My first day there, I had the entire beach to myself (beach is very nice and clean).
There is no traditional check-in or front desk and not many employees, so there's kind of just a "honor system" vibe. I did meet one of the managers, who was very sweet and talked to me for several minutes about living on the island. The staff at "The Shack" next door were extremely professional and polite (I'll review The Shack separately).
This sounds like such an advert that I will add one negative thing; over the cottage I stayed in, there must have been some sort of fruit or nut tree, and the fruits/nuts often fell throughout the night. Each time one fell, it almost sounded like a brick hit the roof.
What a gem!! We loved our stay and would highly recommend the Hideaway! We stayed in Cottage 1 with two young kids and it was perfect. So so clean and you can tell the high level of care that was put in. We also love the property grounds with beautiful plants and variety of fruit trees (star fruit, mangoes, coconut, etc). The outdoor shower to rinse off beach sand (which was literally outside the resort gate), beach chairs, towels… just so thoughtful with each detail. The outdoor restaurant was delicious (a little pricey, but seemed consistent with island pricing). Overall, we had a fantastic time and have already recommended to family and friends! Thank you!!
It was a
Nice stay Very quiet and small. Not a resort, no front desk. Beds were extremely comfortable. Food options are very limited. Lots of mosquitoes in our room when we arrived. We brought a big zapper and killed at least 25 upon arrival. and throughout our stay the mosquitoes were in our room. Their only remedy was giving us a can of deet bug spray.
Me and my husband were celebrating our 25-year anniversary. The Hudeaway Hull Bay was absolutely amazing. The staff was very attentive to our needs. The room setup was beautiful. The staff even surprised us with a bottle of champagne in the room to celebrate which was very appreciative.
The property is a true oasis. Clean and accommodating on a 4 star level honestly. There is a restaurant adjacent to the property (The Shack) good food and tvs for watching sports. There is another beach bar steps away with award winning wings but just a beach bar hut nothing fancy.
The beach is good for sunbathing there are quite a few rocks once you walk in the water so I’d recommend water shoes to get past that point. Not overly crowded so super relaxing.
Back to Hideaway Hull, truly a gem I’d recommend over and over again. Property is well kept and picturesque. Perfect for solo travelers like myself or families. I’ll be returning.
This property is beautiful- rooms are great! However- they have absolutely no provisions - no place to pick up water, milk- anything. Nothing in room accept coffee or tea/ no creamer. It would be so much better if they had a little store on property to get snacks, drinks, etc. there is nowhere walkable to get this stuff. The Shack is great but not open Sunday and Mondays and does not open until 11.Very expensive to taxi- $100 to airport- not far away but taxi drivers don’t come here
This is a unique farm state property. The rooms are very nice updated comfortable with the most basic amenities. Bathroom items are good quality, plenty of robes and towels. Lots of lizards on property and we got one in our room, but it was no problem. They push you right out at check out and if you stay a little bit extra, they want more money which I found is common on the islands around here and 10am is too early and doesnot seem too friendly when you have a little baby and you’re making multiple trips to the car. They serve pastry fruit and coffee for breakfast for nine dollars, but I never got it because they serve the plate of fruit open uncovered waiting for a guest to have breakfast and there were mats all around and that was a turn off for me to not buy the breakfast either day if they would just cover the fruit I probably would’ve bought the breakfast because there is no food in this part of the island except for the shack next-door and it’s not open for breakfast. No, on the shack, there are sand fleas, and wear bug spray we got bit up. We got a lot of bites on this part of the island as opposed to sapphire beach. I went to the nomads bar a little further down from shack when I first got there before check-in and the tattooed bartender girl was complaining to everyone about her tips seemed very unhappy. She needs to not be a bartender if someone can pass that comment along she was very rude. Take her out of the picture and the nomad space is really cool.
