3BR Loft Cozy House Fishing Boating Views

  • Summary:

    You will have a wonderful place to relax while still being close to everything. It has 3 bedrooms and a large loft. There are two full baths and a laundry area. Enjoy the views and weather on the porches and a downstairs patio. An outdoor shed and pier for the renters to use are on the property. The yard is large to allow for plenty of parking and for boats. The home is perfect for a family, a group of hunters or couples. It is across from the Outer Banks and a short ride to Cape Lookout



    The Space:

    The home is located in a small fishing village known for great fishing in the spring, summer and fall. The duck hunting is renowned in the winter months. We have beautiful weather for boating, kayaking and just lazy summer days. Carteret County has many festivals year around that visitors love to participate in. The home is close to Historical Beaufort, Morehead City, Atlantic Beach and Fort Macon. This location would also be great for wedding venues or as a reception, please contact us for further details



    Guest Access:

    Guest will have the entire home and the outdoor shed. They will also have access to the pier and boat slips. The entire yard will be at the guest disposal.



    The Neighborhood:

    The house is close to the beach, ferries, Aquarium, Restaurants, parks and museums.



    Getting Around:

    Automobiles are best to travel in around the area

    Water can be accessed by any water toy or there is a ferry close by.

The property isn’t near all the tourist trap areas, which is what I prefer. It’s a short drive to a beach, maybe 45 minutes to Morehead city. The view off from the deck is definitely worth the drive.

Weekend Getaway

We wanted someplace to go where we could rest and relax. This was perfect. We brought all our food because we didn't want to go out at all. The kitchen could use a few more items like baking dishes, tops that fit the pots, etc. Towel racks in the bathrooms would be a great addition as well. There were a few dust bunnies around, but overall it was very clean. Would definitely stay here again.

Wonderful Week

The house was spacious and clean. We walked in and were so happy with the open concept and good size rooms. The dock is just off the back yard where we had fun catching blue claws, several of which were keepers and good eating. Plenty of baitfish to catch just no luck fishing off the dock. The location was terrific, we were looking for a quiet location but close enough to our adventures. Beaufort and Cedar Island Resort are a quick ride from this home. Parking under the house and covered deck upstairs was ideal for some rain we had.

Great location, cute home to rent, spacious. On the online listing, I wish I would have known the pull out couch was in the loft for proper sleeping arrangements to be planned out. The home needed a deep clean as there was candy papers, dust and dirt under the beds and couches. Overall, great experience and nearly a full kitchen of dishes and cooking supplies. Due to location, I recommend to bring your own groceries or get them on your way in as there isn’t anything local within 25 mins

Overall it was a nice property . Only concern we had was the amount of bird poop in the lower parking space. This could be a very big problem for someone with kids who would likely be down there running around when outside. They really need to address this problem.
