"Very friendly staff, amazing location on canal. Room was large and very comfortable. Restaurant is excellent. Had dinner there two evenings and tried five different dishes - all delicious. Some of the best food we've had in Germany. Lots of nice walking paths - along the canal, beach area, to local ruins of a monastery. You can reach the innercity of Greifswald by bus - about 25 minutes away."

"We stayed here for 3 nights as part of a broader trip through Germany as we toured Rugen And Usedom. This is a remote hotel within walking distance to the Baltic Sea in the quaint little small town of Devin. The rooms are a decent size for Germany and they were clean and comfortable. The staff spoke little English but were very accommodating and helpful. The restaurant was one of our favorites in Germany with exceptional schnitzel! it was five stars! Would definitely stay here again."

"Bra boende nära en liten hamn med flera restauranger. Ca 10 min promenad till närmaste strand och mataffär. Boendet verkar nyrenoverat. Vi saknade en golv/bordslampa i vardagsrummet att tända på kvällarna. Fläktar i sovrummen saknade vi också när det var ett par nätter som var riktigt varma. De plastiga maddrassöverdragen gjorde inte saken svalare.. Personalen vänliga och hjälpsamma så om vi bemödat oss att efterfråga det vi saknade skulle de säkert hjälpt till! "A nice place to stay: nice rooms and a super breakfast, but unless you are prepared to pay £70/night to park your car in their underground parking you could have quite a walk back to the hotel (like we did). We hit it lucky, though, because even though we had quite a walk we only had to pay for an hour’s parking as it was 3pm Friday afternoon and after four it’s free until Monday morning. The other disappointment was the horrific stains on the carpets in some of the corridors. The carpets really do need replacing. Apart from that, great."
