Very comfortable, welcoming friendly staff. Spotlessly clean rooms.

Clean, comfortable, spacious room. Great, helpful staff. Close to bus station, restaurants, stores, boutiques, and four-FOUR charity shops! :) (Parking is confusing, however. Park in the nearby city lot in a space with WHITE borders-otherwise you may have to pay.)

The staff was a great help in holding my luggage before check-in and providing directions on how best to navigate my early morning flight. The bed was extremely comfortable and I had a great night's sleep.

Visited with my husband and young children and we all enjoyed our stay very much! We felt safe and comfortable. The breakfast was amazing. Thank you!

Very quaint facility. Staff didn’t know what to do when we arrived. It was nosy and we were very tired.

Perfectly nice and very lovely people! Nice hot tub and sauna too!

Very friendly staff

Hotel is accessed via a private road so our gps expressed an alert about that but there was no restriction on driving it. Drive to airport was very convenient and about 20 minutes. Convenient gas station access along the route.

The quintessential British country Inn and pub. We enjoyed our one night stay, and had a delicious meal and socialized with the locals. We enjoyed cocktails in the beautiful outdoor beer garden prior to our dinner. The room we stayed was impeccably clean, and had a beautiful view of the surrounding countryside. Wish we could have stayed longer.

I mean, Northumberland is a beautiful place, and this property was no less beautiful. It is the most eco-conscious hotel we've ever stayed in, with it's own garden, solar panels. and I believe a rain catcher? There's so much wildlife in the area, bird feeders and cats roaming around. We got lucky and there was a bit of clear sky our second night, so we headed to the observatory and got to spots some stars since it's in a Dark Sky Park. It was also a great distance to all the sights in the area,...
