"We stayed at the Strand last year when we visited London and did so again this year. I love the location, the waljabity of theaters, the nearness to Covent Garden, and plan on my next trip to return to the Strand. ."

"I cannot recommend this hotel enough, its in a great location ,close to the tower Bridge and tower of London so quiter than main central London. The rooms was clean , spacious and had everything we needed. The breakfast is 100% worth it , we had the Full Monty and the Buttermilk pancakes , both we Fantastic. This also came with drinks and additional side and self serve fruits, pastries and cakes. However the highlight was the staff ,they was very accommodating and went above and beyond for our stay, cain and Vladislav and another lady( who's name is didn't happen to get) were extremely helpful, we had a medical emergency and the team was amazing to help . So if you want a great location, amazing breakfast but more importantly a comfortable stay with top tier staff that will go above and beyond,then this is your place."

"We arrived at noon, too early for check-in but when we spoke to the concierge he said a room was ready & we could book-in now. But only internal rooms were ready & we took one. in hindsight this was wrong as we overlooked noisy machine equipment which made a constant noise & made sleeping difficult. The bedroom & shower room were both a bit small but nothing we couldn't live with. Breakfast was good with plenty of choice & lots available. Even though the hotel was very busy we were seated quickly. We had a lemonade & a coke in the bar, very small measurers & expensive. Even though we ordered at the bar & took our drinks away ourselves I was amazed to see a service charge added to the bill. Just not worth it. Housekeeping didn't service our room on our 2nd day and it was a bit of a faff to get it sorted. Now we know all this we probably will go back as we know the pitfalls to avoid."
