"Lovely setting for an overnight stay after a 5 hr drive. Great food and lovely staff. Didn’t like the flimsy plastic party glasses in the room. Glass or solid plastic one are more in keeping and more useable. "

"A quiet and peaceful location, but can be tricky to find and the gate makes parking a bit awkward on the one-lane road. Comfortable place. Note that no food is provided and the nearest food stores are 15 minutes away."

"Great host and lovely spacious place! Despite all the rain, we enjoyed our holiday and would love to return back, hopefully next year for a longer time.The location was beautiful, and prompt instructions were given in advance on how to enter the property. The kitchen was big, nice and clean, the bathrooms were clean, and we had a lovely hot water all the time, which my little girl really enjoyed. My dog was happy with the size of the garden, and I left him without the lead to run out without the fear that he would run away.Due to the rain all the time we couldn't enjoy the barbecue outside, but that was not a problem. It was nice and cosy indoors with plenty of games that we could spend the time together.On the last day, my little girl forgot her soft toy, and she found out on the way home that she was missing it. Thankfully, the host was kind enough to post it back to me and reunite my girl with her toy.Lovely place and we will come back again!"

"The property was clean and was well equipped for the two of us. The listing was accurate. Being on one level it provided a good flow. Its location provided a good base for exploring the area and the easy to reach castles of Leeds, Scotney, Hever and Sissinghurst. There are plenty of excellent farm shops in the vicinity and the local shop in Yalding was well stocked. The location is relaxing and the provision of an outdoor eating area was adequate with uninterrupted country views. Communication with the host was very good, as was self check in and out, with the reassurance there was a pro-active host available, should the need have arisen."
