"This property although it was very old suited our purpose for our stay, we just needed a clean bed and somewhere to shower. Where it is situated is right on a lighted intersection and trucks and other traffic had to stop or start off again. After a few nights we became somewhat acclimatised to the noise which was very loud most mornings and evenings. Staff were extremely friendly and helpful. "

"It was a great place to stay as it is in a convenient position, walking distance from the Railway Station and Echo Point. Near a bus stop if necessary. It's also very close to restaurants and supermarkets. Our room and bedding was warm and cosy and we had a convenient kitchenette. "

"Spacious room , comfy bed and pleasant surroundings. Only issue was the outside lights coming on at 5am which shone into our room thrthe curtains. Apparently this is for the tradies who stay during the week and leave early. Understand that but it would be nice if the timer was adjusted on the weekend. "

"Booked the motel when the UTA trail run was still happening and it was literally the only room in/near Katoomba available. Decided to still spend the weekend after the event was cancelled. The Motel is pretty dire. Ultimately you get what you pay for at $85 a night. It’s situated right between the train line and highway so is super noisy. No staff on site so check in is automated - which is fine except it reeks of a place that can be rented by the hour. And it also actually reeks...damp smell,...
