Great experience had - lovely vibe, nice lounge areas to enjoy, close to town and sightseeing, EV chargers for my EV vehicle at no charge, food was lovely (high tea was beautiful), garden and seated areas were pristine.

If you appreciate a step back in time then this beautifully restored hotel is for you. Dinner in the Grand Dinning Room is a treat and how nice is it to be served as madam and sir. Afterwards, coffee beside a fire in the drawing room.

Disappointed having to drag luggage up the external stairs - nice to have access to elevator inside whicwas out of order by checkout next morning. Staff on hand to help carry luggage out though. Room super cosy and heating in separate bathroom area was a surprise, loved the decor. Handy to everything in town. Thank you

Beautiful hotel with a lot of history. I stayed in a room with the bathroom down the hall. I was surprised to find I still had my own bathroom, with a locked door, in what I would call a suite of bathrooms. The staff was exceptionally welcoming and helpful.

This hotel was close to all sorts of restaurants. There is no air conditioning, but there was a fan in the room. The hotel is a sight to see! How it has been restored and maintained over the years is a true gem.

The ac did not keep the room cool, kind of warm though out the stay. It was difficult getting up and down the steps with my luggage, and I did use the lift. Staff, food, wine, and location were outstanding!
