"Excellent room and location "

"Having discovered this hotel quite a few years ago I always try to book it if it’s available as it is quite superb.Great location and easy to find.Large free car park and always friendly reception staff,this time it was the charming Katerina who had a genuine persona and couldn’t have been more helpful.Very large room plus with added bonus of a bathtub.A nice welcome touch is the glass bottle of complimentary sparkling water.Saving the best comment for last, breakfast (most important meal of the day)You are spoilt for choice with the huge selection of hot and cold items.It is very rare in mainland Europe to get a good selection of hot cooked items for breakfast but perfectly prepared scrambled eggs,two types of sausages and bacon!! As a Englishman the only thing lacking was baked beans.The final nice touch is you are able to grab a takeaway coffee as you depart.Thank you to the owners, management and of course all the wonderful staff."

"We had excellent service at this hotel. The staff spoke English, there was lots of accessible dinning options nearby and it was close to the tram. The hotel was quiet and other guests were respectful. I recommend to anyone looking for a cheaper option in Freiburg. "
