Being a guest in The Feathers for 4 days was like stepping back into a gracious way of life that made me feel like I was a guest in a Tudor manor. Every common gathering area was furnished like a welcoming home, with lovely decor and photographs of the hotel's and town's history. The dining and bar service were excellent, and there were nooks for companionable sharing of food and drink. My ancestors lived in Ledbury 300 years ago and I can't imagine why they ever left. Our expectations weren’t high because this hotel was so reasonably priced, but The Tewkesbury Lodge was a pleasant surprise—the most beautiful place, with spacious rooms, helpful, friendly staff and delicious food, both at breakfast and at night. We constantly marveled at the views and the beautiful gardens, as well as the perfectly maintained golf course. Only downside was no elevators and no air conditioning, so just fix that by asking for a ground floor room and a fan. Definitely will return....

Probably one of my favorite UK stays. I booked the morning of as a bit of a spur of the moment decision. The price was absolutely fantastic, the room that I got could not be beat. The staff are all incredibly kind and helpful. Jess the supervisor was an absolute gem. The food is great, if I’m ever in the area again I will absolutely be staying here. Can’t recommend it enough!

Comfortable, clean and the incredible view from the Malvern Hills across the Severn Valley.

We loved our stay - the room was very comfortable and bed was king size. Breakfast was good and accommodated vegans. Our dog was very welcome and they even offered a doggie breakfast! Staff were very friendly.

Our checkin was good! Room was lovely and spacious. Bathroom was good. Slept well on the nice big bed. Breakfast was very good and Mila our server was friendly, kind and welcoming!! Enjoyed a wonderful breakfast.

Excellent restaurant - a chef who ensures every part of your dish is tasty and wholesome. Even breakfast was good. I had a cheap room but it was still a good size and the bathroom was a proper size, not a closet conversion as you often see in old houses. I only booked the hotel on a whim and was quite pleased. Oh, and the view is amazing. Territorial view for miles, over the tops of the forest and gardens on the hillside. The driveway is narrow and the parking a little crowded, but...

Staff, restaurant and location was excellent … only negative was that the beds tilted due to the flooring structure; therefore, the sleeping was not very comfortable … not sure how the could remedy that but if they could then this hotel would be a 10 in my book. 😊

Great location, beautiful property and garden. Our room was very small but we made it work. Next time we'd opt for larger room. The only disappointing thing was the breakfast, We stayed here on the recommendation of my sister who stayed here in Nov. They raved about the fabulous breakfast, apparently the menu changed since and it was disappointing in being buffet style and the exact same for all 5 days we stayed.sausage, beans scrambled eggs, bacon would have been nice or omelets or...
