"We stayed at Portou House for 5 nights and had an excellent time. Very good location in Chania Old Town. Communication was great from start to finish with Julia being very responsive. We were pleasantly surprised with a bottle of wine for my Partner’s birthday which was a nice touch. The only feedback we would have is that there was no full length mirror - think it would be good to consider including in the rooms. Many thanks Julia and team at Portou House. "

"The flat was brilliant and not too distant from the old town - 10 minute walk. However when I arrived at the property there was no receptionist and a sign pointing to the e-reception. I rang the bell on the keypad and got no response. I finally found a phone number and got through to someone who gave me a code to access my key - it was a real pain to search for a number I could contact them on - they had contacted me by email the day before to ask for my arrival time, and could easily have given...

"Vi hade en fantastisk vistelse på Heaven Apartments. Nikos är oerhört trevlig och välkomnande oss trots att flyget var ett par timmar sent och vi kom fram mitt i natten. Han hjälpte oss också med tips och förslag på saker att göra på ön. Han är mycket serviceinriktad! Vi bodde i lägenhet 3 (nyrenoverad) och hade balkong med viss havsutsikt. Mycket bra skick på lägenheten och städning varannan/var tredje dag. Luftkonditioneringen fungerade jättebra. Vi kommer gärna tillbaka! "

"Absolutely lovely apartment in a great location l, the apartment was spacious modern and very clean, the apartment is well equipped but was lacking a microwave the manager did say that was being corrected there are quite a few steps to the apartment and no handrails so not ideal for people with mobility problems. Rulerer themanager was incredibly helpful and friendly , I would definitely book again "

"Helt igennem perfekt ophold. Vi havde 2 vær. lejlighed i 2 etager - med fuld panorama udsigt. Adgang til solsenge på egen strand (som man dog skal betale for at benytte). Lille restaurant der serverer mad og drikkevarer. Virkelig god service. Eneste ting man skal være opmærksom på er at det kan være en udfordring for gangbesværede. Der er rigtig mange trapper. "

"Really wonderful host, location and apartment. Very flexible and helpful host. Just a few steps from the harbor excellent restaurants and all the sites Of Chania. A big plus is the private parking area. Nice clean apartment with plenty of space and quiet. Can’t wait to return."

"Upon our arrival we were upgraded to a suite and it was excellent. the front desk staff were super accommodating and always seemed to be working, no matter the hours. The rooms are spacious and super clean. We rented a car and there was underground parking. We love walking and could easily walk to the old town ( about 20 minutes) and eat and shop. However, there was also an amazing bakery about one block ( around the corner)from our hotel where we picked up breakfast and sandwiches for the day....
