"This hotel has a great location to the Santa Cruz Beach Boardwalk. It is a beautiful new building, clean, secured parking garage, decent breakfast, and spacious rooms. Unfortunately we encountered a few problems during our stay which was disappointing given the price for our room. We reserved a 2 queen + sofa bed for our family of four. The beds did not seem like queen size beds, more like doubles. The sofa bed was broken - one section wouldn't lock in place, so there was a valley then the end angled upwards. Blankets and linens for the sofa bed were not in the room. We tried calling the front desk @ 10pm but no one answered the phone. I went down to the lobby, and a sign at the desk said the employee was on a 15 minute break. When he returned, he gave me and another guest (with the same issue) the requested linens. The outlets on the nightstand didn't work for my husband's CPAP machine. Again, disappointing hassles for an expensive night's stay."

"I feel that this resort had lost its charm. I had high expectations that were very quickly diminished. I expected the pools to be nicer and more kid friendly. It felt like a budget hotel which didn't match the price."

"I was really looking forward to celebrating my husband’s and my birthday weekend at this resort, but unfortunately, we left feeling underwhelmed. The property appears to be in need of updates and better maintenance. During our stay, the only outdoor adult hot tub was out of order, the cornhole set was worn and falling apart, and the steam rooms were unavailable during our scheduled spa treatments. We were also disappointed to learn that the food truck and poolside drink service were weather-dependent, which wasn’t clearly communicated ahead of time. Additionally, the in-room products did not meet the level of quality we expected for a resort of this caliber. That said, we did really enjoy the restaurant, and the staff throughout the resort were friendly and welcoming."

"The Inn was charming, quiet and clean. The staff outstanding. Breakfast was along the lines of a continental breakfast, which was delicious and was brought to our room. We cannot wait to go back there."

"The location was perfect! Cute area, perfect for walkable experiences. However, the cost for 1 night was a lot considering the place was decorated with mismatched furniture collected from a Goodwill. The towels were also overly use/washed and need to be replaced. The mattresses were AWFUL - they’re so old, Jesus probably slept on them. They should use the money from the over priced motel to get new items so people can actually enjoy the stay. "

"We have stayed at this hotel multiple times but this time the place seemed unkempt. As we entered the building to our room the trash cans were over-flowing and people left trash on the ground. The next day the trash was still there. We were put in a room for handicapped people but had not requested it. The shower was intended for someone that had to sit and use the shower; it was not convenient."
