"Was fine, clean room. Wanted to charge me to check in early. Every hotel or motel I’ve ever stayed at will check in early if room is available free of charge. If would charge me meant room was available so why charge for early check in? For $250 for a no amenities motel room, not accommodating guest - not good. Oh he did say a could come back at 2.30 instead but it was 1so did me no good, I wanted to drop bag, change to go to beach… thanks for bothing"

"This place is terrible. There is no room for parking and cars are damaged all the time. Run!!! Do not waste your time money or energy on this dump. The worker was rude and nowhere to be found. Then came in smelling like weed! Awful experience"

"Captain's Inn at Moss Landing: What a Delightful find on Orbitz, the "last room" they claimed, the Sanctuary, out front with view of the river/ slough, with the ocean and its sounds just beyond the berm, perfect for we bird lovers. But in all honesty, any of their rooms are probably "the best", I'm sure! Every detail was thoughtful, SO comfortable: the high King bed with luxurious bedding, gas fireplace, larger multi-headed shower, nice bathrobes, even TWO suitcase racks... and the wall-of-windows view. The kitchen dining area in the main house was better than expected, with some bonus amenities. We enjoyed this Inn and tiny quiet Moss Landing very much. HOW to enter this property! My main frustration, again, is with Orbitz, as after reading the Congratulations! for making our reservation, we did not see their additional 3-4 emails about HOW to enter this property. Upon arrival, we had to call the number found on a sign, which hooray! was answered by a live person. Frustrating that we had to give all our same info to him, which Orbitz already has! We don't have to do that in any hotel! The gentleman was very patient, and finally we had the Codes to the Public areas and to our room. And my, what a room! Worth it!"
