"I stayed at the Ameristar East Chicago for 21 nights over 11 stays in fall 2025, travelling for business. It doesn't have everything (breakfast) and is in an odd location. But it was half or less than hotels in Hyde Park, had free parking, big rooms, was always clean and quiet, and the front desk staff was awesome. Shout out to Danica, who was not only a joy but who directed me to the rooms with the best wifi."

"This was a short staycation for me. The check in service was friendly and quick. Hotel room was very clean and large. I did not use room service but there's a restaurant on the property and plenty of restaurants and shopping nearby. Room has a refrigerator, safe, etc. but no microwave. However, there are microwaves in the lobby on every even numbered floor. Hotel was quiet and I enjoyed my stay. "

"The staff was very courteous and warm. Room was nice and clean. One concern we had was it was chilly in there even with the heat on to us. Not cold but still a tad chill in the air. I also like that there was a kind of bath bench to use in the accessible room. However it was the same height as the tub and it's still kinda low for some . I had my own bath seat which worked out. I still loved the fact that it was available to use."

"Very upgraded, impeccably clean and quiet room! Tea, coffee and water was a great plus. Comfortable bed was the best coming late from family gathering. Unfortunately valet was full but parking lot walk isn't bad and easy access. "
