"We had a PreChristmas gathering of 10 adults. The Modern Lake House was perfect for cooking together in the spacious kitchen, cocktails and eating at the dining room table, and talking as we watched the sunrise in the living room. It was a cold snowy day but the view was stunning. We went for a hike at the Schmeckle Reserve that has parking and even a gift shop. It was beautiful to walk around Lake Jonis. We saw two deer up close. On the 2nd evening we drove to Knowlton Distillery which was about 25 minutes away. We had a great tour and dinner. There are 3 lovely adult bedrooms. The fourth bedroom has bunks which are really more suited for children but one couple did stay there. There is also a sleeper couch which is situated to form a fifth sleeping space although it is open to the other living area. We used the hot tub and that was a great feature. There is also a game room in the garage that looked like fun if the weather was better. This is a really classy house with lots of high end features. The only improvement might be better marking of lights switches and additional hair dryers so that there was one in each bathroom. Thanks for a great Holiday gathering! "
