"It seems the hotel is under going renovation. Parts of it were nice and updated, others were very rundown looking. The staff were all very friendly and helpful. Our room was fine, bed was comfortable, it looked newly updated which was nice. The breakfast was typical hotel continental. It's a good place stay for the money."

"If you are looking for a calm get away with everything you need minutes away I would recommend staying at the resort. There is so much to do at the resort to keep you busy! If you are lucky as I was there was a concert one of the nights of my stay. The cafe was amazing! The food was fresh and my iced coffee was to die for! 10/10 recommend!"

"Excellent location. We had a short stay but would have loved to stay longer! Very nice/clean home. Owner responds immediately to questions. We loved the area and had so much fun crabbing. Highly recommend!"

"We really enjoyed our stay at this spot while visiting our son for Plebe Parents Weekend at USNA. Had plenty of space to relax and unwind and communication was great throughout. One thing that wasn't as clear until arrival was that this is a guest house above garage next to main house where owner resides - therefore the pool/hot tub/outdoor space isn't private but shared. Wasn't a big deal to us but could to know beforehand. Really enjoyed the peaceful setting and was great to have the pool to cool off in with hot August humidity."

"Beautiful home. Everything you need is in the home! Watch the deer come up through the back yard. Fishing pier is great for crabbing. We also put our boat in at the boat launch across the street from this house and drove it around to the back pier and tied it off for the week. Took boat out fishing and crabbing. We got couple bushels of big blue crabs 6 to 8 inches! Host John was Awesome! Any questions he answers right away. Bring your bikes too. Dock house has best prime rib! 25.00!!"
