Property is an old but renovated building that is charming. It is on a quiet side street across a bigger sister hotel with the gym, sauna and restaurant. There is no thru traffic on this street. It feels like a pedestrian lane.
Room - I stayed in a small single room, and it was very small, but adequate for my last minute short stay. It was clean and bathroom was designed in a way that didn't feel too cramped, but the shower was an interesting wet-bath type arrangement. Mattress was old and can sense the coils inside - needs to be updated. Need blackout curtains. Room overlooked inner courtyard and has good natural light and working window.
Location - Excellent, immediately next to metro line which easily connects you all over very easily. Easy to learn metro system. Area has restaurants and grocery and some shopping but not in main busy downtown neighborhood. However, it is walkable to there if you wish.
Service - staff was friendly and helpful. Breakfast was good and well stocked. If you have to leave early they will make you a breakfast box. BUT you have to order it the night before which no one told me. The desk is not attended at night and you get in with your key, but the desk at the sister hotel across the lane IS attended 24h.
There is an elevator!
