"Amazing...that's one word for it. It is tired, the beds are bunk beds (fun at 63 climbing down from the top bunk!), the shower leaks, the bath tub leaks. We gave up after day two of our three day booking and left. Kenneth the local guy was very helpful but the unit itself is very tired. The lakefront is swampy and uninviting but a nice view and quiet spot. The listing should better reflect the state of the unit to better manage expectations. We will be asking for the refund for the unused night. "

"The property was elegant but in need of some refreshing. It was very odd to have no contact with staff because I arrived at 5pm. I had to search for a very long time to find where I was supposed to go to pick up my key - there was no signage in the front of the hotel which I thought was the entrance - I just wandered around & finally found where my key was. That was not a good experience, but all other aspects of my stay was terrific. "

"The hotel staff were friendly, the room was fabulously spacious and comfortable. Great location within easy walking distance of great restaurants and bars. Disabled access was a little awkward as the entrance was along a long windy corridor with some tight turns but it didn't detract from the overall experience. Breakfast was superb. We loved it. The gym could do with a revamp as it is a little tired and the machines are old. "
