It was very clean and had all the amenities that we needed. As stated, the ladder to the loft is straight up, but if you take it slow there was no problem going up and down. "Perfect location close to shops, restaurants and the national park. Very clean and easy to access. Located above an amazing restaurant (colonel’s) which we frequented after long days of hiking/ exploring the park. On-site laundry was an added bonus. The kids loved the fresh pastries and the adults loved the coffee from colonel’s before long days at the NP. Would definitely recommend and stay here again. Thanks! "

"This was my in-laws’ first trip to Maine and we wanted the experience to be as cozy and enjoyable as possible. This beautiful home was the perfect place for us to stay. "We loved this cottage! Very clean, and everything seemed new. Perfect for a relaxing stay for our family. The location was great! Enjoyed the view from the patio. We got great use of the binoculars that were provided as an eagle flew right over one morning, it was amazing to watch. We were 5 minutes from Bass harbor where we booked a fantastic fishing tour and The Seafood Ketch restaurant which was great!"

"Overall, it was a nice place to relax at, especially after being out all day. I enjoyed the views from the deck and also walking to the pier for a closer look of the boats and sunsets. "A charming property with lovely garden (including a family of 3 deer) and interesting interior. The mural in the dining room was amazing. Communication with the host was excellent, and you can tell he cares about his guests. We had delicious blueberry ice cream down the road, played putt putt, hiked in Acadia, ate lobster rolls in Bar Harbor, and my husband walked to the beautiful butterfly garden nearby."

"We booked this over a year ago before our wedding and the host was very quick at responding and answering our questions. The groomsmen and their dates and my family loved it! "We enjoyed our stay in Southwest Harbor. The location was ideal for access to all parts of Acadia as well as stores and restaurants. The house was clean and had all of the necessary amenities. We appreciated having the two twin beds and second bathroom for the kids as well as laundry. There was plenty of room to rest and recharge after hiking and exploring.
