"Our stay was fine for the short time we were there as a place to lay our heads but for the price we paid I was a little disappointed. In all honesty The beds felt like a horse has broken them in, we have all woken up with sore backs today so definitely need adjusting (or even a mattress topper) the curtains were very thin so we were all woken up with the light first thing which was also frustrating as we wanted to make the most of the rest. "Service was excellent from check in to check out. The staff are all very welcoming and friendly. Room was modern, clean and very comfortable. Fantastic facilities to cater for the whole family! Our breakfast was delicious and staff were kind to prepare a special dietary meal for my husband. Will definitely visit The Essex again."
