10/10 Excellent

"Nice hotel, comfy beds, clean and decent breakfast but not any protein options that weren’t pork except a boiled egg and none of us eat pork and one is vegetarian. It was six of us on a girls trip, riding the train, we booked this particular hotel because it was close to the train station and offered free shuttle service, however, we called to be picked up and where notified that there hasn’t been any shuttle service for 7 years (this may be an Expedia issue but in 7 years, I’m sure we weren’t the first nor last disappointed or stranded guests). Exeter is a small town with unreliable Uber/Lyft services and both Taxi companies that are found on Google were out of business. A lady that was on the train with us graciously asked her husband that picked her up to make 2 trips to drop us off at the hotel….. Thank you Jesus for Amy & Ashby or we would have had to walk a mile in the rain to the hotel….."

"We enjoyed our stay immensely. It was nostalgic, but clean, cozy and inviting. Breakfast , included, was good, and some mornings great. Staff was all pleasant and helpful. Can't wait until next year. Hope the remodel does not remove the vintage New England vibe because that's what most ppl visiting New England are looking for. Beautiful place. Quiet stay aside from neighbors door slamming shut multiple times a day. Not a deal breaker. Location is good."
