"This was a great place to stay. It was a nice quiet unit on the ground floor. It was perfect for two people. It was easy to get an Uber to all the places we wanted to go, but far enough out to be a quiet retreat from the bustle of the city. Would definitely stay again. The check in was easy and they supplied a few referrals to different cafes and restaurants. There is even a grocery store across the street"

"This was a wonderful base for exploring Munich. Grünwald is not in the city center but it is a lovely and quiet area that makes the travel time well worthwhile. It also has some good restaurant options (we love Kritamos). This apartment was perfect for our needs - it was even more spacious and nicely appointed than it seemed in the listing. The hosts were terrific - quick to respond, very welcoming and hospitable, and even offered to drive us to the tram stop with our luggage upon our departure....

"This is a truly lovely apartment. Our family of 4 (2 adults, 2 teens) really enjoyed our stay. Our kids said it was the nicest place they had ever stayed and we parents agree! The apartment itself was bright, airy, beautifully decorated, and fully equipped. The beds were so comfortable! We enjoyed spending time playing darts, ping pong, and soccer too. "The location of the hotel is great, only 7 minutes walk from the train station. Very welcoming and friendly staff. The room is spacious and comfortable. The air conditioning was great for sleeping in the heat (even though it’s September, it’s still quite hot). We’ll stay in this hotel again if passing through Munich."

"Our stay here wasn’t bad. I will note the room had a very unique smell. It can be compared to the smell of carpet in an old home. This is pretty understandable as it is clearly an old building with older finishings. Everything was very comfortable. I do however wish that the TV would allow you to cast your phone to it. I think if you are coming to visit and do all of the touristy things Munich has to offer, you may do better by picking a hotel more in the Old Town. This location isn’t bad but my sister and I both agreed we would choose a different location next time. It is however very convenient because it is very close to the main train station."

"So we booked double beds. Room has king with 2 Twin XL mattresses side by side. Room was not set up by housekeeping and we checked in 4 PM but they were done for day. Ugh We split them apart ourselves and asked for additional mattress pad. We folded the king. They never brought another pad only extra sheets. We jury rigged it and made do for 2 days. All else was fine On Friday night bar was open to 1 am so we could get food and drink after being on road all day. On Saturday night returned at 11:10 pm and bar and restaurant just closed. Had to go across street to McDonalds So besides some issues all else seemed great. Near stadium for game we attended. 2 day stay better than good. Has adjacent hotel also looked good"

"They were soooo accommodating and and attentive. The booking staff went above and beyond making my birthday extra special. I got a birthday cupcake and, personalised card and decorations upon entering my room. We were also given drinks vouchers on arrival. There was only one rude porter when we were checking out. But overall it was a great experience. I'll stay here again if I'm ever in Munich again."
