Basic hotel with good location

Average hotel with average service. The room was basic with a nice bed. It was quiet and you can make it dark, so you could get a nice sleep there. Double room was ok for one person, but with two persons it would have been a bit too tight. No water kettle or a fridge, but you could get some boiled water from the restaurant downstairs. The breakfast was just very basic, nothing green. The cutlery was also dirty, so felt a little awkward to eat.

existing reviews dont do justice to this comfy and very convenient hotel, located in a modern shopping mall, just steps from strasbourg historic city center. this is an excellent budget hotel, not just a good one. the hotel facilities look fairly new, rooms are clean, and the hotel staff is very helpful. big bonus for me the free entry card to w nearby fully equipped gym. would strongly recommend

Good location, tasty breakfast, okay Hotel

Hôtel is well located. Worked well for visiting the Christmas markets. Our room was very small. It was hard to move around the bed. Bed had one flat pillow on each side, one towel, and only shampoo. Not sure if this chain is pretty basic, but just know that is what you’ll get, the bare minimum. Breakfast is good and well stocked. It does cost extra each day you go. If your expectations are properly set, and you don’t mind the grievances listed above, you’ll be fine.

There's a reason why I m a regular.

It's basic but comfortable. Good working ac and simple but plentiful breakfast. Reception are all really nice. It's also bang in the heart of Strasbourg within a department store and two bus stops right outside. Tram stop is just two mins on foot.

The hotel is walkable to the city main area, clean and breakfast is great and has many variety. The staff weren’t that friendly! We arrived early so the rooms weren’t ready, we had to wait for the room to get ready! During that time, the washroom wasn’t accessible unless you buy something from the bar!!! The rooms are very small as well and has no room for our bags.

You always know what to expect from IBIS. It’s a budget hotel but always clean and usually updated. I really miss a kettle or coffee maker. Good location. Not a water view!

This hotel is convenient to everything in the city- easily walkable to many areas of town. BUT- the parking situation is terrible. There is a nearby parking but it is poorly signed , locked on weekends and nor where the hotel recommends. But once you are in you cannot move until Monday.

We had a great stay during the christmasmarket. The hotel is a walking distance from the old city and the markets aswell as the European Parlement. There could be more options in the breakfast buffet. It felt quite limited right now. Also a safe in the room would have been highly appreciated. We had some loud neighbours during our stay, not something the hotel can do anything about. But if you are sensitive for noises, we could hear our neighbours and a lot of street noise. All in all a good, solid option for a visit to Strassbourg. And the parking is very convenient, which was the reason we chose this hotel, along with the price.
