"We have just returned from beautiful Crete and stayed in Suite 2 at Sarpidon Suites for 11 nights. It is the best private apartment we have ever stayed at! It was immaculately clean, very private, was in a brilliant central location and offered all the facilities we needed. "The hosts of the Rose Residence went above and beyond for us during our stay in Kissamos. We were greeted by them personally and they had a delicious meal waiting for us. The home itself is beautiful, clean, and in a great location, just a short drive (or even a walk) to the beach and town, with views of the sea. I recommend the Rose Residence to anyone staying in Crete."

"During our week long stay the water stopped running one afternoon/evening and we lost electricity one afternoon/evening. This interrupted our dinner plans for 2 of our 7 evenings. The property is very nice with incredible views of mountains and sea. However the location is difficult to find and there was no organized check in process. Suggest that if this property is subject to random water and electric problems this should be disclosed to potential renters."

"Absolutely lovely. Panos and Christina are extremely lovely hosts. The rooms & property are very clean. Nothing extravagant but a very lovely little place to lay one’s head after being at the beach a simple walk across the street. Sifis provides beach towels and they have lounge chairs on beach that you can use for free if you tell the staff you are staying with Sifis. The easy to walk to restaurants are delicious and Panos/Christina will gladly make excellent recommendations. We came with our...

"Spacious, clean apartment. Beautiful view of the sea and the mountains. Very close to beaches. We enjoyed traveling on the ferry to well known Balos Beach. Host was great at communication and easy to work with. This is a great place to access many of the beautiful places in western crete."

"Beautiful hotel, spotlessly clean with lovely quality furnishings. Good breakfast buffet with plenty of choice. All the staff were really friendly and the service was excellent. Pool area is lovely with plenty of beds, connected to the beach with use of the hotels sunbeds. Food at the pool bar is lovely. We booked a garden view room which had the worst view of any hotel I have stayed in, roof view with a few plants on it and rotten windows, we didn’t use the balcony once. We had room 317, so if you can avoid that room, I presume 316 and 318 had the same awful view. I don’t think all the garden room views were as bad as ours. It didn’t spoil our holiday in this lovely hotel but was a bit disappointing 😢 The location is great, in a relatively quiet area with a 10 minute walk to platanius where it is a bit livelier. Great hotel with lovely staff, would recommend. "
