"Villa Carlton is a beautifully preserved 1920's building within three or four minutes walk of Zakopane town centre. The public areas of the hotel are very original and retain all the charm of that era. Our room however had been fitted out with cheap white composite wood carpentry which was a rather nasty contrast. The mattress and pillows were of very poor quality. On arrival the room was very clean, but housekeeping was minimal with towels changed once in six nights, and the bath, floors etc...

"All well organized, clean with standatd amenities. Sofa bed in upper floor has very thin mattress not fit for a good night's sleep unless you put an extra layer of thick covers on it. Thin walls you hesr neighbours all the time. Overall still ok value for money view magnificent and quiet neighborhood away from the hustle and bustle of Zakopane."
