"This is a very comfortable place from which to explore a very special landscape. The larger rooms we've always booked (this was my third time over 25 years) are comfortably furnished - think very oversized motel rooms with one king and one queen bed, a reclining chair, a table, and access to an outside (shared) terrace or balcony with a pair of comfy chairs over which you can gaze out to the spacious grounds and glimpses of the extraordinary landscapes just beyond. It would be nice to have screened, operable windows to take advantage of the evening air and silence the hum of the air-conditioning in temperate seasons. A nice unusual touch is a washing service - give the front desk a load and pick it up later the same day for a modest fee. Food five nights a week is available in the main dining room. It's the best restaurant for hundreds of miles in any direction, based on my own travels and the assessments of may guides and websites. For other meals and other days there's a friendly food truck with picnic tables. Menu choices are limited. Coffees are good. The oatmeal-molasses toast that accompanies eggs is great. Our eggs were too salty, though."

"This is such a unique and amazing property. You do however, need to embrace quiet and peacefulness. The river was pretty full so Grant, the host took us to the property. Out 3.5 year old son LOVED the home and the Cats. It truly is one of the most unique places you could ever stay! We will be back for a longer stay!"

"We lived our stay at Juniper House in Boulder, UT. The home was a beautiful example of reclaimed and upcycled materials. We especially loved sitting on the deck, which wraps around the house so you can sit in or avoid the sun at any time of day. It is incredibly peaceful and serene. We hope to visit again soon!"

"I just wish there was air conditioning at this location. It was hot in the evenings and the windows were wide open but we still had trouble sleeping. It is a beautiful place and a hidden gem but really needs air conditioning. We also unclogged two toilets when we first got there....not sure what that was about but it was not an issue as we stayed. There is a really good restaurant close to this place ...Burr Trail. Would have been nice to know that this is really remote and you should bring everything you want to eat and drink in. We wanted to get ice cream for the pies that we got at Captital Reef Park and it was 15.00 for a half gallon at the local grocery store....everything was extremely expensive there."
