The Space:

With free private parking on the drive, you can ensure a stay that’s easy and effortless.
There is one small step from the parking area and one into the front door. However, once inside, it's a single-level home.

The Neighborhood:
This lovely bolthole for two is ideally located with everything you need right on the doorstep. Located in Brimscombe on the outskirts of Stroud, you'll find numerous great pubs, cafes and restaurants within a few minutes walk. There is also a convenience store just around the corner for all your essentials. Stroud town centre is 5 minutes drive away where you can find an even wider selection of independent shops, cafes, restaurants, pubs and more. There are also larger supermarkets here - Waitrose is just a few minutes drive down the road. Stroud is famous for its markets and you can save the hassle of parking on busy market days by walking into town in about 30-40 minutes.
Stroud is located on the River Frome with The Thames & Severn Canal Towpath running alongside. This passes through Stonehouse, Stroud, Brimscombe and the Golden Valley offering stunning walks through the countryside. As well as exploring the town itself, there’s lots to explore in the surrounding areas. The Cotswolds AONB starts just 15 minutes away, with some of the UK’s most beautiful villages. Painswick, with its famous ewe trees and quaint pubs, is also only 15 minutes drive whilst Tetbury and the Westonbirt Arboretum are around 20 minutes.

Getting Around:
The property is centrally located in Brimscombe, with everything local right on the doorstep. The market town of Stroud is a 5-minute drive away and once there, it's easy to explore the town on foot. Or you can hop on the bus: the stop is a short walk away and runs directly into Stroud. A car is useful for exploring the surrounding areas, although if you are visiting by public transport, Stroud train station is a short 5-minute drive away. There are regular, direct trains to London Paddington as well as Cheltenham, Swindon and Reading.
That said, the area is popular with cyclists so a car isn't essential. The area is very safe and you are welcome to store bikes outside the property.
Other Things to Note:
The property is situated near to the main house where the owners live. It is a separate detached building and completely private inside. The outside area is also fenced off for privacy.
